no bc AI in the creative/illustration/animation world is closing in on me and it's starting to make me lose hope and motivation for any kind of future. fellow student AI generating an entire comic as a final assignment for a comic class and claiming it as their own work. at least 3 people using generative AI for their bachelor project. and then this one person on tumblr who gets hundreds of notes under their AI slop. you people are so lazy and uninspired and soulless. everything is about recognition and praise to you and not about the process and meaning. if you can't work or even come up with creative ideas without the use of generative AI then maybe you were never meant to be an artist or illustrator or animator in the first place

there is an "artist" on this website that follows me who clearly uses AI throughout the entire process and get really defensive when people point it out and somehow none of their followers seem to notice & they actively defend OP. i won't share the url publicly but it's genuinely making me feel insane and if you're reading this, shame on you
