I’ve just never been so emotionally connected to a show before, steven universe really came to me when I most needed it and turned my life around. The past few years of watching this show have literally shaped who I am today and the version of me that exists right now would have never existed if it weren’t for this one cartoon that was so unapologetically kind and compassionate and full of love. It’s offered me healing in ways that nothing else has. I love you so much SU. This experience is going to stick with me forever.
