SOME THINGS ABOUT SANTANA:

Santana grew up very close to her abuela and grew a hard exterior just like the woman she claimed to be her hero. Santana grew up never taking crap from anyone and making sure the world knew who Santana Lopez was and that she was one not to be messed with. Santana loves her parents but she’s not exactly thrilled with how her mother chooses to spend her spare time. She’s all about having a voice and being an empowered woman of color but she feels her mother can take it a little too far sometimes. Santana always wanted to get out of Lima and she did after graduating high school. 

She got a cheerleading scholarship to the University of Kentucky. Kentucky wasn’t ideal but it was a chance to start new and eventually make something of herself. College ended up not being for the girl and she soon dropped out and picked up a job as a bartender. That’s where she met her first and only real love. He was a smooth talker and it was a whirlwind romance. They hit it off instantly and before Santana knew it she was engaged. 

That’s when their relationship took a turn. He introduced her to the idea of being in an open relationship and then the polyamorous life. Santana wasn’t one to judge so she gave it a try but she soon learned it wasn’t the life for her. She brought it up to her fiancé and before she knew it she came home from work to find her fiancé throwing her clothes out of his home. Santana had no choice but to tuck her tail between her legs and make her way back to Lima. 

She picked up a bartending job at Luxe Strip Club and she soon became a fan favorite. It wasn’t ideal but it was a living. Santana managed to get caught up with old friends from Lima Heights and got into drug dealing to make extra money. When that seemed to not be enough she was offered another opportunity and before Santana knew it she became an escort for the elite in Lima and surrounding cities. It’s all very hush because these are very important figures who cannot afford to get caught. Santana has returned to Ohio colder than before she left and with an even harder exterior not wanting to let anyone, even family get too close.

I’ve been back in Lima for almost a month now and I can say I did not miss this place. The majority of people are still idiots, the food is ridiculously greasy as hell, and I still feel like I’m living in the dark ages sometimes with people’s opinions on today’s issues.

On the plus side working at Luxe has been badass, it’s really cool the community theatre is doing RENT, low key mad I wasn’t here to audition but it is what it is, and I am back together with my family which is relatively dope. But why don’t ya’ll tell me everything I’ve missed these past couple of years?

I try not to come at people too quickly when they’re being complete assholes. Maybe she just really has some low self-esteem and doesn’t know how to react when there is someone who radiates confidence in front of her. Also, not my problem but I’m trying to be better about that.

It’s a lot easier than you think, and saves time when I’ve got bartending and the musical to do. It is pretty awesome, thanks Santana. We really lucked out, but have also been super workin’ towards this moment for like… ever. Your cousin found it, so I’m good. Can’t help it. I work at a gay bar where my tips come from my arms and abs. The shirt usually comes off.

So apparently there is a boba shop that someone opened up in town and there’s a reason why no one’s heard of it– because it sucks! The tapioca tastes weird, they only have fruits and coffee or chocolatey flavors– which, I have nothing against but c'mon where’s my classic milk tea or even a jasmine boba tea? Good boba doesn’t need all the bells and whistles with whipped cream and cookies to be good. Good boba just needs simple, quality ingredients and love..!

I’ve taken upon the project and redoing my entire house. Now, now … don’t get me wrong. I love the way my house is set up but I think it’s the time of year that I need to set up something new. Some changes. A little change never hurt anyone, yeah? However what I do not recommend is going to the store and pay in singles because you will be judged. Like damn Brenda, I’m sorry that you can’t handle the fact that people actually pay to see my body. I didn’t come into this mall to get judged.

It’s weird finally setting up dates to be in a recording studio, it’s weird knowing that we’re signed now. Fuckin’ cool though. Luckily the label has been really understanding and is letting us do a lot of our recording in Lima for now which will help for the musical. I hope everyone had a rockin’ New Year though and stayed safe. Also… if anyone happens to find my shirt, please let me know. it was one of my faves and I’m kind of bummed I lost it in the midst of the chaos on NYE. Who is hella pumped about the new year?

Recording in Lima? That’s a first if I ever heard it. But to each their own as they like to say, right? I guess it’s pretty dope you managed to get signed though. Can’t help on the shirt front though. Maybe next time don’t get so wasted you get naked, hm?
