I mean..Kenny sure as hell didnt teach him..oh God..what if it was Hange…can you imagine the chaos?

Omg headcanon…Hange tries to teach Levi how to read and write but Levi gets all aggressive because of his pride and storms off. Then later as Erwin is retiring to bed, he sees Levi squinting at alphabets under a dimming candle light.

“A passion for learning isnt something to be ashamed of..we all start somewhere Levi.."Erwin pulls up a chair next to him and Levi realizes he isnt entirely opposed to having the commander teach him.

And thats how Levi learned how to read. The end.
