My mom's basement experienced a water leak from the heavy rainfall recently, and unfortunately, some of my old art was damaged or lost.

Years of paintings and some sketch books. My best ones, gone.

Mother brought over several boxes of what could be saved, and I've been going through them, reminiscing over these old drawings and writings.

Amateur written poems & short stories.

It was fun watching my skills improve over the years, but I found even more joy in flipping through pages where old friends had doodled with me and reading the written conversations alongside them.

A few of your drawings were preserved. Oddly enough, it's yours that bring me more solace than mine ever did...

I let my touch follow the dark ink, where dragons curled, crosses stood, stars glimmered, and a sword stretched into wings.
