Neil regularly does illustrations for the Wall Street Journal, The Week, and numerous other publications, and his work is superb. I was just researching poet John Betjeman and discovered this amusing tidbit about his days at Oxford in the 1920's: His tutor, a young C.S. Lewis, regarded him as an "idle prig" and Betjeman in turn considered Lewis unfriendly, demanding, and uninspired as a teacher.
