Ahmed is fundraising in order for himself and his family to escape the forced famine and merciless bombings in Gaza.
Ahmed himself was hurt by Israeli occupation before he was even born. He has a lifelong health condition that effects his bones and teeth, all because his mother was exposed to a dangerous gas weapon while pregnant.
Ahmed can't get the specialized medical treatment he needs in Gaza because of the war, but he also can't get basic necessities like food, water, or shelter, and neither can his family.
Currently Ahmed and his family are only at 19% of their goal.

I WILL TRY MY BEST I think I have some ideas of how they would probably behave. I have quite a few thoughts
Vinnie:
- kinda distant, like sometimes you're talking to him and it's like he's somewhere really far away
- random bursts of energy or emotions that make him freak out but then he'll be playing immediately after like nothing ever happened
- Obsessed with getting ice cream from the ice cream truck. Him and Evan race to see who can get there sooner
- Often drawing something, probably unsettling but he always swears it's supposed to be a happy drawing
- Sleepwalker and sleep talker, maryann has deff woken James up with tears in her eyes telling him that Vinnie has wandered off yet again, most of the times he's not worried. But there was probably a night where Vinnie wandered off far into the woods and they had to get everyone up with flashlights to find him, where he was probably asleep on the ground with his blanket or maybe playing with his ship
- when he is having an episode is spewing biblical stuff he probably has those "nose bleeds" or coughing fits where he spits out black sludge, they have taken him to doctors but no one can say anything about it and they've just tried to deal with it. Vinnies episodes probably make him rock back and forth and get emotional, he probably will even yell over the others when they all have their shared episodes, he probably tries to say it louder because maybe if he prays hard enough everything will stop
- reads the Bible for fun and Evan thinks it's so boring, and everyone else tells him to stop being so disrespectful (considering I believe James and Mary are also Catholic, and Evan definitely wasn't raised that way..He probably had a hippie mom idk, which I think is why he got adopted so easy, she probably couldn't afford much and thought he'd be better off with someone who "knew" how to deal with her son's troubles) but Vinnie tells him later that he thinks it's boring too, but it just makes him feel better after he reads it.
- almost never gets mad and when he does it's over something small and petty like not being the first one Maryann says goodnight to, or not being first to go down the slide. Whenever something serious happens he just does his best to ignore it
Evan:
- fussy kid, but also really happy most of the time. He's just really excited to talk to everyone and anyone but he gets so overwhelmed when he HAS to do something, he doesn't like being told to do something he will argue and throw a fit
- The type of kid to need a harness leash or something HELP MY BROTHER HAD ONE BC HE WOULD TRY TO WALK INTO THR ROAD
- Would hold his breath until he got exactly what he wanted. most of the time.. it's really easy to make him laugh and he'll just forget why he was even mad
- has hurt animals before but he always feels really bad after he does it and has probably brought some to Maryann asking her to help make it better
-he had a little camera so I think he was probably taking pictures of everyone and everything but the person he has the least pictures of is probably James, he has some but they're not the best
- He has gotten violent with the other kids but most of the time it ends quick, the person he gets the most aggressive with is James, he would scream in his face and bite him even when having one of his episodes and it's just because that James usually gets aggressive first and Evan gets set off easily (especially if the episode in question is just habit taking over)
- He misses his mom alot and he always asks when he'll see her again and if she's ever gonna come pick him up. after awhile he does realize she isn't coming to get him. Vinnie and Steph would probably wait with him sometimes, Jeff too but sometimes he would get tired of all the waiting, everyone knew she wouldn't come back but Vinnie and Steph didn't want him to be sad
Steph:
- James is a girl dad and you just KNOW she was the favorite, none of the kids minded tho bc Steph needs a lot of attention bc of how prone she is to self harm
- really sensitive kid, she doesn't talk much and she just wants to be left alone but the others cheer her up alot, Evan always does his best to encourage her, she hates it when habit is possessing him bc it's the only time Evan is ever mean to her
- She loves art so much she draws more than Vinnie and she's really good for her age too, she puts all her effort into it because it's how she communicates bc I think she's probably mute, atleast for the most part
- She really likes playing outside with the guys but sometimes she's just too tired and that's when James will find something for them both to do inside like maybe find a movie they can watch
-Shes a tomboy idk she's got that vibe
- They have a rule that no one is allowed to lock the doors to any rooms or let Steph into any room (alone) that has anything potentially dangerous but James and Maryann try to make it seem like it's something they've always done and didn't just start to do after her overdose
Jeff:
-Maryanns favorite. I just know she SPOILS this boy and says he's the most well behaved out of all the boys. Jeff adores her, he probably calls her mom, the other kids call her ma'am, (Steph calls her Mary but Mary assures her that she can call her mom if she really wants)
- Jeff looks up to James, he finds him to be really cool and he thinks that James is actually a secret agent or something and that's why he has to leave all the time. Evan and Vinnie told him that one time and he fully believed it
- I think he acts a lot like Alex, often believing that James and maryann are his actual parents and his own memories get harder for him because of it but James does his best to help him
- When he's having an episode, it's said that everything he says is incoherent, and this probably happens a lot even he's not having an episode, sometimes he tries to speak and his words get all scrambled in his head and he says something totally random
-he likes to write bc it's mimicking james and he tries really hard to have the best hand writing out of everyone
