Wendy’s dealings with children younger than her were very limited, unfortunately. There was a young girl in Fairy Tail back home with the name Asuka, and Wendy had watched her once or twice, so… she was glad the food baiting had worked here.

“Okay! So what do you want for dinner, Yuki-chan? We’ll have to go to the store first, though…!”

"Uuuuum! I wanna get duck-soup! Let's go catch some ducks, Wendy-chan! You can get those at the store, right?"

A pause. Thankfully for Wendy (and the ducks), the girl seemed to have thought up another possibility for dinner. "Oh! What about potato leek soup? Momma always made that for Yuki!"

"AAAAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"L-Little girl! Please! Please let go of that duck! She’s obviously in pain, please you need to let her go, please don’t hold her like that!"

"Aw, don't worry about it mister! Yuki wasn't thinking about eating her or anything!"

A lie; she was honestly a little intrigued by the idea, as duck soup sounded just as enticing as pheasant soup, which was a luxury within her household. Despite her reluctance to release her capture, the man seemed to be fussing quite a bit, enough for Yuki to offer up her captive.

"Here, you take her, mister!"

"LOOK! LOOK!"

She hollers over the distressed honking of a duck, wrangled between her arms. It's putting up quite the hassle to hold, but the girl's far too imprudent to let go. She's plenty proud of her capture, judging by the boastful grin broad upon her face.

'A weirdo…?' well it wouldn’t be the first time someone commented on his appearance but for a child to say something like that so bluntly was pretty rude, why was a child here any way? what use would she be to the voices in this experiment? had she been taken with her parents or had they simply kidnapped her? '…these were hand-me-downs from others in my Village…' he shouldn’t need to go into the details of why he wore these, the child surely wasn’t that interested was she? then again children seemed to be unusually curious about things when it got there attention, and it wasn’t as if he was ashamed of his clothing either as despite some alterations over the years, it’s been what he’s worn majority of the time. '…but it mainly helped me when I hunted since there's no restriction to my movements…'

"Wuhhh?! You hunt too?! Yuki loves to hunt!"

Proclaimed the girl, rather bombastically. A broad smile blossomed upon her mug, a glimpse of white seen as she flashed him a rather toothsome peak at her ivories. Teeming with vim, the girl would practically twirl in place, her mouth's motor running perhaps even faster than her turning feet.

"I have an idea!"

"Let's have a contest! Catch somethin', and whoever gets something first, wins! If you win, I will take back my mean comment about your weird clothes. Okay?! Okay!"

And before the male could either confirm or deny her offer, the girl would briskly dash off, naked feet kicking up mounds of dust in her wake. She was real intent on winning, and she'd risk a dirty dress any day to win a contest like this.

Yuki wasn't certain what this fiery, furry critter was, but she was certain in the fact that he was an easy target to discern amid the tall, verdant grasses. He also made for an enjoyable ''prey'', and even more exciting to chase. Yipping madly, the pup tailed this alien ferret up until they had both emerged from the tall grass, where her target had happened to reunite with the shoulders of his friend.

The pup, meanwhile, paying no heed to where she was going, would barrel right into the said companion's leg.

The sudden blur of crimson was enough to hook the girl's indecisive attention. Taking notice of the older girl, who happened to be jogging, Yuki felt more than obligated to catch up. Sprinting as fast as her tiny legs would take her (which was surprisingly swift), she'd eventually catch up with the stranger, giggling feverishly all the way.

"HEY! HEY! I can run too! See! I'ma run with you lady, okay?!"

"Hey! Hey! You wanna see my treasure box? I got this stuff all on my own!"

She'd barrage a complete stranger, tiny fingers tugging upon his pant leg in order to fetch his attention had her voice been caught within the hiss of an evening winter's gale. Would he spare her a glance, the girl would then proffer the box upward, teeming with vim, fingers anxiously dribbling at the rim of a grey box as she anticipated his consent.
