What we know about Frozen III, so far...
Deep Freeze -> Semi Freeze -> Frozen Snow
(Is Elsa getting weaker or it's Arendelle gettting warmer?)
"Frozen 3 is coming. And from what I've seen so far of the film, I think people are going to be surprised. I can't give away too many spoilers, other than to say that Jennifer Lee is leading the charge and that the story and the direction that she's taking these characters, what they're going through, what they're going to go through, I think it's going to surprise a lot of people, but it's also going to deliver on everything that people love about Frozen." - Jared Bush
"Well, whenever we think about is there more story to tell, we think about what questions do we still have. And today I got to show just page one of some of the questions we still had. And that made us realize we actually have two movies" - Jennifer Lee
*Frozen 3 directors Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy have strongly hinted that Anna and Kristoff’s wedding will be a major plot point.
While visiting the World of Frozen, Lee teased "big wedding plans" for the couple following their engagement in the previous film
(Who's the mysterious new member? Can't be Anna's child if it's described as mysterious. Is the new family member a point of conflict between the sisters? Will Anna trust them but Elsa will be suspicious as hell? Who is doing all the welcoming? Btw it doesn't seem there's a big time gap between F2 and F3)
*A new, untitled Frozen short film is scheduled for release in October 2026. Announced by Disney Consumer Products, it acts as a lead-in to Frozen 3 and is part of a major marketing campaign.
One funny thing is we discovered bubble gum existed then, so we were like, “Oh good! We can use that!” But also when you were taking photos or painting portraits, you had to hold a smile for a minute. So yeah, we had fun with all those little moments. - Jennifer Lee
