TY SEGALL: Diddy Wah Diddy
Does anyone else note the same drunken hostility of the more raw Replacements stuff in this cut? From Ty Segallâs upcoming Slaughterhouse. Itâs acidic crotch rock, soaked in rusty bathtub moonshine. Donât let the cig smoke burn your eyes!
Iâve got a nice car Itâs a car with⊠with wheels Who fucking cares
Slaughterhouse drops June 26 via In The Red. Soundtrack of Summer 2012? Welp. WhoâmâI to make such assertions?Â

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
Iâm reposting this because SO MUCH POWER
Alright last time Iâm reposting this song but I have 461 followers and this post has yet to reach 461 notes. Â If youâre following me but not digging this song then what are you doing with your life?
Tacky Souvenirs of Pre-Revolutionary Americaby Culturcide.
Culturcide. "Bruce" Tacky Souvenirs of Pre-Revolutionary America. No label, and not surprising, 1986.
"You can't be The Boss, you can't be The Boss without a bureaucracy."

Bad Teeth by Bright White Lightning.
Bright White Lightning. "Extra Ordinary Part 2." Bad Teeth. Data Airlines, 2012.
The enigmatic Bright White Lightning release their first EP soon. It is exceptionally fun. Like the competing electronic / guitar solo business at the end of this one.
(I found this band listening to the 150 songs compiled by Indie/Rock playlist for the month of May. I admire the work in putting together the collection, but I hate indie rock currently. It will pass. It's kinda whiny, white, and male, huh? Who knew?)
File Under: Chiptune, Indie Rock, Dance Party, Bonus Points for Avoiding "Brite White"
âGhost Riderâ by Suicide
A more original band youâd be hard-pressed to find. This electronic duo was arguably the first to describe their music as Punk (on a concert flyer in 1970), and listening to their 1977 debut LP youâll find the roots of Techno, Synth-Punk, Industrial Dance, Post-PunkâŠÂ Singer Alan Vega had a penchant for pissing off the audience (he idolized Iggy Pop, but who didnât?), and Martin Rev would rather beat the shit out of his guitar than play it. My point being, this is a brilliant record, but itâs definitely an acquired taste.Â
Le Petit Prince.
Be still, my beating heart.
reblogged, because how could I not?
Busy busy today, so just reblogging. This is at least half just in case Rana hasnât seen it yet, anyway.

Best Coast. "Everyone's Gone." Far Away / Everyone's Gone. Was released for free with purchase of some kind of headphones so I don't really know what to tell you, 2010.
