I have been trying to sketch as much as I can while in Copenhagen. I’ve tried to take at least half an hour to just sit and sketch or write at every building or museum I have visited and it has been teaching me a lot about what I am drawing as well as drawing itself.

Construction of my birdhouse for the WeMakePDX event “Put a Bird In It”. Artists were asked to create a birdhouse to auction off for funding the arts in public schools.

My birdhouse was made out of ink on paper (my main tools of the trade). The challenge for me was turning it into a 3-D object.
