SAILOR MOON COMPLETED!!!

These took waaaaaaaay too long, and I still have Sailor Moon as a rough pencil sketch. XD But I’ve had this vision for such a card for the longest time, so really glad to get it done. Usually ideas from my head turn out differently in person.

I recently got a new printer, so altering the colors in Photoshop was a pain, along with cutting the cards to size and around the ladies. I have very little patience with the exacto knife esp after the inking/coloring/tweaking fine details, so my husband ended up doing that part!

Elves: Dark and Light MANGA (title STILL undergoing change....)

Third attempt of this, but will be included in a trio of images (Naku and Aioshi’s life journey through mealtime: single life > 3 kids + dog > one BIG family ^_^) so added in the three predominant kids.

(+) Aki: tail only (=red eyes). Takes after Aioshi in looks except for the thick lashes. As firstborn, witnessed the rocky beginning of his parents so passionately dislikes Aioshi. Often seen bored or playing video games/listening to music.

(=) Ruby: tail and ears (=red eyes). Takes after Naku in looks. Seemingly quiet but speaks her mind out. Makes sure her daddy treats her and mommy like a princess!

(+) Tamago: no tail or ears (violet eyes). Very short in stature. Aioshi is still questionable whether this happy-go-lucky kid is related to them at all. Loves astronomy.

But just when I got into the rhythm of doodling everyday, work bites back. Wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t pick this back up until 2016... I have great respect (and envy) for those who found the balance between work and pleasure.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Actually got something up for the holidays!!!! Although I might continue the image/mood by adding AIoshi, of course~ And maybe redo the hair highlights...

Argh, I cheated using COPIC markers, and cropping. And it took me too many months to even do so. But I think I wanna try again in a few months~

Trying to redo my 2012 attempt, the year where I returned to my lovelies, all while trying to get back into watercolors. I know, "AMBITIOUS". And probably silly. 

(1-2) Lovers being so pretty.... while eating decadent ice cream sundaes, like the "Milky Way". Unfortunately, messed up on Aioshi's hair (the violet tints I envisioned turned into a murky-brown >.<) and judging from this photo, his posture. But that's okay, I gotta keep moving forward or I'll get frustrated/stressed, and dump this = another failed attempt.

Childhood memories rushing back to me!!!! Mighty morphin power rangers!!! waaaaaiiii~

Although I like my "flat" plushies, I got down a good head and body, constantly tweaking with this FOR MONTHS, AND MONTHS. This little guy (about the size of a fist and a half) is even pose-able, to a degree..., since it's simply floral wire. Now I just need to work on those itty-bitty details.

Unnamed garden elf twins who serve under some sorcerer space pirate named Tazu (who enjoys nothing more than to torment Naku, ultimately getting under Aioshi's skin/ego). Pirate-appropriate attire still in the works, although I was imagining more vines/bondage for these two... @_@

I miss you COPIC markers, drawing pretty hair!!!!!

As the story has shifted towards Naku x Aioshi, this storyline will probably be scrapped. But I still admire this - cannot believe I had time to do this!!!
