(( Mmmmghghhgh... Might have to do some kind of... soft reboot with Snowy, but I really don’t know yet... Don’t panic, soft reboots allow any current relationships that I and/or other muns want to be maintained if desired. Just kinda thinking outloud. A lot has changed. ))

ay yo it’s me… back at it again with not logging on in a while…

I’m sorry guys. This time it’s more of the same, really… Depression, with extra sprinkles (mostly every holiday hitting hard bc it’s my first time spending them single in 13 years), and a huge spike in chronic fatigue that I’m only now starting to recover from.

But I really miss RP, I miss my Sonic boys, and I miss Y’ALL

I’m really hoping I can get back into the swing of things. I NEED to. I’ve literally been doing nothing!! Barely even playing video games, let alone drawing or writing! It’s been a ‘keep the cats fed and happy, go to work, and clean what parts of the house I can muster here and there’ kind of deal

But I must!! Make myself do things! Or I’ll never get out of this slump!

I remember RPing here in the Sonic community has been some of the most fun and motivating stuff for me… I need to get back to doing the things I love, for the sake of my mental health… and the sake of having a good time!!

ANYWAY sorry I’ve been gone again, I love you guys

“Aw, thanks! I grew it myself!” He joked with a laugh, emerald eyes widening. “You do?! No way! I got all the materials I use right here!” He tugged on his backpack strap. Of course Chili would carry around flower crown supplies. 

“I like yellow! Ooo, or orange! Maybe red?” He shrugged. “I like every color!” Chili paused in his excitement. “Oh, ah, do you just go by Sonic, or…?”

Snowy laughed lightly at the joke. Typical Sonic humor. Those white ears perked again as he glanced at the backpack. This Sonic must be very devoted to the flower crown craft. He cast the other a bright smile, taking note of his favorite colors.

“All very valid choices,” he chuckled. Then blinked as he realized they hadn’t really introduced themselves. “Oh- Mostly I go by Snowy actually! Creative, I know, heh heh. And you?” As he asked he gestured for the fluffier hedgehog to join him on the park bench he was sitting on. It had been a while since Snowy made a new friend, and he was excited at the potential to do so.

Ears twitch. Oh, another Sonic? A very fluffy one, it seems.

“Oh! Haha- thanks! You’re pretty cool lookin’ yourself!” Snowy replies bashfully, before perking up at the mention of a flower crown. “You make flower crowns? So do I! Oh, um, my fave is blue! Or purple... What’s yours?”

(( oh gosh anon, I really appreciate that offer! I’ll have to think about it- but I should probably mention (and add to the info/rules) that I’m not really interested in Snowy having a creature that’s not from his universe/franchise. Now, a Chao on the other hand would be just fine. I’m really sorry though I feel like a huge butthead, especially since I’ve had to decline similar offers before. I just want you to understand that you and your kindness are appreciated <3 ))

as I am the mod for both this blog and also @sharpandpointysonic​ I would like to simply link this post I made on that blog about a month ago for explanations on my absence: read more for slightly negative tone but it gets better

I’ve been getting back into the swing of things over on that blog for a little while but wasn’t totally ready to handle more than that. IDK if I still am, but I want to at least pop in here!

Snowy is still around. 

I will say that I don’t want anyone to consider Snowy to have been gone like the Sonic on my other blog was (that Sonic was experiencing the plot of Sonic Forces in my absence). 

Let’s just pretend that Snowy has been at home, chilling, and working on recovery. He would have checked in on friends now and then! He just couldn’t get involved in anything major.

Snowy couldn’t have been happier with how the year had ended. Well, maybe a little, but he always tried to focus on the positive. And he was positively thrilled with the time he got to spend with family and friends tonight. The white hedgehog was very excited for the coming year and the potential it had, and resolved to do his best to get things back to how they used to be, and make up for the time he lost.

The name actually makes Sh’dow flinch despite himself, he just doesnt understand how this person can be so much like his son without being him. It takes him a moment of careful, slow breathing to calm his nerves and reply as Emereth murmurs silent reassurances to him.

“I see. Well the world im born to is called Pern, but it was colonized from a world by that name 2500 years ago, according to the records the AVAIS system has. Maybe-could you tell me about this world?” he doesn’t make any move to come closer, unwilling to unnerve snowy and just nodding at the explanation. Emereth, who is generally a bit less cautious than his rider, moves over and leans down to look snowy over with a a huff, his eyes swirling a very calming blue-green-yellow ‘…. you are like ruth, i think. different than you, perhaps should be but better for the difference’

     Snowy didn’t quite catch the flinch, but he did see that Sh’dow seemed distressed all of the sudden. “Hm? You okay?” he asked, before Sh’dow continued. Maybe this was his first time in a new world?

“Sure, I can- whoa-” Snowy leaned back a little as the dragon moved so close, but he doesn’t seem to mind too much. This dragon was friendly, so there was no need to panic. “Oh..? Heh... thanks, I think?” He chuckled, before straightening up.

“Well... this world, like I said, is called Mobius. It’s been around a lot longer than 2500 years, heh. Um... What all would you like to know? I’m not sure where to begin...”

     Snowy stepped in, following the two to the living room, where he set down the two presents and box of sweets. Mostly so he could take the offered present from Harmony that she already was holding up to him. She sure was quick! He smiled warmly at her and chuckled, carefully holding the package as he began to open it.

“Aww, you didn’t have to do that, Harmony,” he began as the wrapping paper was pulled away, revealing the thermal sweater in some of his favorite colors. “Oh gosh, wow! This is beautiful! And it looks so cozy~” The white hedgehog let out a purr as he felt the soft fabric with his finger tips, before setting it aside to give Harmony a hug. “Thank you so much, sugar!”

     And as he stood up he realized Volt had something for him too! “Oh, you guys- gosh-” He opened it carefully, and blinked for a moment as he processed just what it was. “Volt... thank you. I actually... really needed this.” The communicator he used to have, well... that was taken and never seen again when he had been caught. Snowy gave Volt another warm smile, followed quickly by a hug. “Thank you, both of you! Now, your turn!”

     Snowy picked up the two neatly wrapped packages he had brought, handing each to their respective recipient. “I did the best I could based off what I’ve learned about you two so far, I hope you like them...” he said a little sheepishly. Harmony’s present was a decent sized box, inside which was a rather expensive looking collection of beads, and even small stones, for making friendship bracelets and all kinds of jewelry. The pup certainly wouldn’t be running out anytime soon.

     Volt’s was also a good size, his containing a variety of fine yarn that ranged from beautiful colors, to yarn with sparkles in it, as well as a nice big cook book by, in Snowy’s zone a least, one of the top chefs in the world.

Christmas Time

     A certain white hedgehog was feeling very excited. Christmas Eve was here, and he almost couldn’t stop wagging his tail. This was his first Christmas since being rescued! Those two Christmases that he missed while being held captive would hopefully be made up for now. All that lost time. Snowy was determined to spread as much joy and love as he could!

     Expressing just how festive he was feeling, Snowy wore a pair of cheesy fake antlers on his head that lit up and jingled. It was mostly a joke about his pink nose, but he loved it. He also had on a red jacket that looked a lot like Santa Claus’.

Cream and Vanilla had decorated the entire house inside and out almost as soon as Thanksgiving had ended. Snowy helped where he could, mostly inside, and even had the privilege of putting the star on top of the tree. Now things were blanketed in a healthy layer of snow, and at the moment, he couldn’t possibly be more excited. Everything was perfect!
