Kishimoto is really obsessed with Naruto and Sasuke. He gave them many contrasts:

1) Colors: blue and orange, yellow and purple, red and green, pink and light green. Each art with them has at least one color contrast, but usually there are more of them.

2) Religion: Fujin and Raijin (Gods of thunder and wind in Shinto), Indra and Ashura (conflicting God and demon in Hinduism).

3) Element: fire and wind ("only wind can give fire power "), wind and lightning (Fujin and Raijin), sky and earth, sky and ocean, two rivers.

4) The Sun and the Moon, the two halves of the Moon ( 🌖 )

5)Yin-Yang symbolism.

Naruto and Sasuke always stand in a contrasting position (Sasuke in the shade, Naruto in the light, etc.). Even when they are just standing, their hair contrasts.

It reaches its climax on this art.

There are 3 color contrasts (red and green, yellow and purple, orange and blue), Indra and Ashura symbols (Ashura is depicted with 3 heads and 6 arms), the Yin-Yang symbol, the Sun and Moon symbol (Hagoromo staff), the open Naruto pose and the closed Sasuke pose,one Hagoromo hand on top, the other on the bottom.
