⋆ so i wanna start with this hc that i personally had in my own life, and i 100% see Sodapop having:

⋆ one of the reasons he wasn’t that great in school early on was because he couldn’t read up close

⋆ so that’s when he first got glasses, in abt kindergarten/first grade

⋆ for the first 5-8 years of him having glasses, he only needed them for reading, and didn’t wear them any other time

⋆ but i can 1000000000% see him wearing them more frequently as he gets older, and by his mid 20s he wears them all the time

⋆ has broken several pairs from having them in his pocket and forgetting they were in there oops

⋆ he looks,,, so incredibly soft,,,,

⋆ he used to not like them cause people would pick on him, so he didn’t even wear them when he was reading sometimes which is partially why he fell a bit behind in school :(

⋆ but really, he still looks tuff AND soft when he had his glasses on

⋆ cleans them once every four months i stg

⋆ “why are things somehow more blurry when I put my glasses on?”
