In my head, Castiel is kind of like the patron saint of hunters in this AU. Dean regularly comes to visit him, leaving little offerings, lighting candles, and praying for protection before heading back out into the world. I don't know... i think dean is weirdly modest for like 6 months into being With Cas for real just because like. he’s used to that. there were lines he didn’t cross before and he’s gotta consciously change that. but cas is not. and he figures out if they’re arguing about something stupid he can remove his shirt and dean will lose steam immediately. he might say “nice try sunshine! you’re not winning just cuz you show some skin” but then he will actually be sidetracked. cas just goes back to whatever he was doing shirtless and apparently unselfconscious and dean crumples in 2-10 minutes.
