I understand that, I’m just not one to take modeling as seriously as other people are. I like the artsy side of it though, art is what I’m most passionate about and I do some creative writing on the side.

I like that answer. Probably why I’m enjoying talking to you, you’re passionate and you’re very hard headed when it comes to that passion. From the little that I’ve gathered about you anyway.

Are you doing anything with the art?

I don’t think hard headed is the right word, but I get what you’re saying. But I am, why do something if I don’t have passion?

Sounds interesting. I might come up with something one of these days, always wondered what life would be like as a model. Totally cliche but I don’t know, I can see myself maybe as one just to get some money going I don’t think I could turn it into a huge career.

What drove you to wanna work in this industry?

It’s hard work, I’ll tell you that much. Well, that’s the thing. People are looking for models who are serious and want it more than just for the money. Why not do that Instagram crap? You’re on your own and could get sponsors. It’s easier than what’s done in the mainstream. 

Passion, that’s the easiest answer.

Like the ones we see in the magazines these days? And how would you scope out these models is there some kind of audition or something?

That or independent stuff. I do a mix of everything, sometimes the best people don’t send anything in.

Nice. So do you scout people out for like TV shows or something like that? I’ve kinda wondered what it’d be like to be on a show like Canadian Idol or something.

I mainly look for models, but I’m opened to others.

You make a really great point honestly, so what’s a pretty woman like you do for a living. I assume it’s a professional business since you needed a photoshoot, unless you were doing that just for fun? 

I’m a talent scout and manager, so no, not just for fun.

You don’t take vacations? At all? Why not, if you don’t mind me asking?

Because I like working and don’t need vacations. It’s not work if you love it, honey.

I guess it’s more so hilarious to me than anything else. You think people would learn by now that it’s called ‘having a bad day’ but whatever.

Sofie. My apologies. Either way it’s still a beautiful name for a beautiful woman much like yourself.

Or just a day. It’s all jut occurrences, you have the control on how it effects you.

Baking is a lot of work but it’s also very fun and quite rewarding in the end, if your results turn out correctly. Even if they don’t the process of it all is still fun, at least for me anyway. But a nice bath is very relaxing now and again.

Do you have any exciting plans for the summer, Miss?

Work. I usually don’t take vacations.

I agree with you on that. You can’t let personal mix with work because it gets messy, it’s nice and fun for a little bit but after awhile things start to take a toll and you’re not doing your job correctly. This is just a wild thought I don’t really have any experience with a camera I only used it like twice maybe and I couldn’t really figure out much of it for the life of me. People just like taking pictures of me that’s about it. A nice bath sounds so nice right about now, I tend to bake whenever I feel like I need to relax.

Just keep them both separate at all times. Besides, not everyone cares if you had a breakup or if your cat ran away. Everyone just wants to get their jobs done. Your friends do? Whatever helps. I just want to avoid more work and baking sounds like work to me.

I’m not one to believe in a lot of superstitions. I just like using it against people to really freak them out. Plus it’s always fun to hear the interesting stories they have and blame it on Friday the 13th. Like “oh crap, I locked my keys in my car and was late for work, then I spilled coffee on myself this morning. Must be Friday the 13th!” Like they don’t expect that shit to happen on a normal day you know? It’s hilarious to me. I don’t know if anything “wild” has happened to be on that day, like I said before, anything crazy can happen any time of the day so if something did happen I didn’t pay much mind to it.

Sofia Luna? I like that name, do you prefer one over the other or do you go by just Sofia?

People place blame on random occurrences all the time. It shouldn’t be surprising.

Didn’t think they would. I was hoping to at least get away with the whole ‘Friday the 13th aftermath weekend’ but guess that doesn’t work. Makes me wonder if today was nuts for you, I’m curious to know how your Friday the 13th was.

It was uneventful. I’ve never been that superstitious. Has anything wild happened to you on any Friday the Thirteenth?

Do you think they were just having an off day? Still though, I don’t think I’d be able to take pictures like that. I would like to take pictures because I enjoy it not have to deal with the chaos that comes with photoshoot work. Of course, I’m always up for helping people out. Other than that craziness did you have an okay day? Were you able to calm down and relax from the unorganized chaos from the shoot?

Maybe, but it’s not professional. Here’s the thing, whether or not you have a bad day, or week, or month.. you have to be prepared and not let it disrupt your work. We have a deadline to make, which now will be harder to reach because a few people decided to not do their jobs. I have no pity for them.. simply put: don’t come between me and my work. Do you have any actual experience in photography? Or is this just a wild thought? Yes, I took a hot bath and lounged.

Sounds like a mad house. I would blame it on a full moon or Friday the 13th but since it’s the 15th I can’t use that, well it did fall on a weekend so maybe the craziness still hasn’t died down? However, I don’t even think it’s a full moon so I’ll just blame it on people having a bad day.

That fanning sounds awesome though when you’re done send them my way?

Neither work, besides, that would take out the fun of blaming who really deserve my sneering.

I’m sorry about the photoshoot, Miss. It’s never fun when no one is organized especially at such an important event like that. I’m always up for helping someone so if you do need someone to fan you, I’m right here.

I appreciate it, though at this rate I might end up in prison for throwing shit at the crew who’ve ruined my day. I appreciate the offer, I’ll keep that in mind next time someone let’s me down.

I just left a photoshoot for a client, and I can’t believe how stressful it was! No one was prepared! I haven’t been this frustrated in ages, I might ask someone to fan me.
