Hi! I’m Jelly, and I’m new on here!

My muse is Hazel, a yellow soul from Undertale, and I was wondering if anybody would want to interact with:

a nb kid that died in the early 1900s

a rowdy kid

  A young child, not too much older than Frisk, approaches with a rather curious demeanor. Their boots crunch on the turf below them as they tilt their hat up to look at the other.

  “… Hiya. I’m Hazel. What’s your name?”

Frisk lifts their head from their drawn map and looks to the other human. They blink surprised to see another human. They offer a friendly if slightly anxious smile to the other kid.

“Hi. My name’s Frisk. What are you doing here?”

  “I have no clue,” Hazel mutters, wringing their hands. “I’m lost.” Something sounds vintage about their voice; like they’re from the thirties or fourties.

  They peer at the map the other child is holding and bites the inside of their cheek.

  .. Hazel eyes the SOUL with wonder and worry. They’ve never seen a kid their age so… Aged. Of course, they don’t look aged, but they feel aged.

  Just like Hazel, who clenched their old, dusty cowboy hat in their rather small hands and stared, the lacy edges of their old-fashioned shirt getting caught in the false winds of the underground.

  They brush the black hair out of their milky, brownish hazel eyes and pipe up, “You don’t look very happy, even though you’re smiling. Why?”

It was always so surreal, waking up half-existing. It had been a while since they had last been awake and they were looking around, paying no attention to the presence that had called them up until they were addressed. Chara turned back to them, noting how they looked like they belonged in a museum somewhere. 

“Why am I unhappy. Or why am I smiling?” they inquired, noting the child’s observational skills. “Some time has passed. Since someone has fallen down. I am merely pleased to be awake again. After all that time.”

 ... The child gulps.

 “I’ve never seen such a literate ghost b’fore,” they say, playing with the tassels on the ends of their shirt sleeves. The hair on their arms is raised because of the sickly feeling of poison in the air that comes with the presence of a ghost.

 Hazel is terrified.
