The Amazing ZigZag Concert discussion on VR3D

Our next VR3D discussion will be Thursday, June 16 at 3pm PST / 6pm EST at Ed’s October Café. We will be discussing Nez and Red’s performance at The Amazing ZigZag Concert at the Roundhouse in London on April 28, 1974.

You can listen to the gig here. However, it is slightly edited and full versions of Nez’s discussion, banter, general cuteness with his muse/soulmate/bestie Red, etc. can be found in separate links for the following songs: Joanne, Grand Ennui, Wax Minute. This performance is a favorite of many Nezheads I’ve spoken with. If you have not heard it before, it cannot be missed. Nez offers some important insights into his development as a songwriter, and he and Red play particularly beautifully. A change of plans.

In light of the recent events in Orlando, I’ve ended the #GishwhesTakesTumblr hunt early. It’s a bad day for games. We still have lots of prizes to give away and donations to make to charities, but we’re going to distribute them in a different way.

Instead of a game, we are going to let you give the remaining prizes away to people who have made a difference in your life. From now until 4pm PDT, today (Sunday), I’m inviting you to nominate someone you know who has had a profound and positive impact on in your life to receive one of our remaining prizes.
