Grouped these asks together due to similar subject.
For the first question, if you are referring to the psychologist and the professor that Cody occupies the house of, then no. They are just regular earth humans. Well, ‘regular’ might be a bit of a stretch, but they are certainly not extraterrestrial non-earth aliens from space.
For the latter, here are my interpretations of Cody’s parents. It feels wrong even giving these people faces. They feel more like concepts than actual characters (which, I guess they technically are, but I digress).
Pre-marriage name was Adrianne Jameson.
I wanted to avoid the “green-eyed redhead” trope. TD already has plenty of those.
Her hair was a bit darker and styled differently in the first pass, but I looked at Cody’s drawings of her and figured VIVID and VOLUMINOUS was the call.
She had freckles when she was younger, which is probably where Cody got that gene from, along with the “sunburns easily” gene.
Initially considered giving her a more muted colour palette in her outfit, but after seeing Cody’s drawings, I threw caution to the wind. MAGENTA, PURPLE AND SEAFOAM, WE BALL!
She’s an inherently more interesting character to work with than Kenneth, imo.

I was gonna give him “mustache hair” (as in, hair shaped like a moustache) but couldn’t find a way to make it look TD enough. The style I settled on was a complete accident, but I figured that simpler was more effective.
I was gonna give him little round glasses, but it was giving vibes too similar to Duncan’s dad, so I changed it for rectangle-frames that sit low on his face. A little nod to Cody’s Drama Brothers ensemble.
His design still looks a little bare, maybe I could’ve added a tie.
He conspicuously has the correct number of fingers here, which looks odd in what is otherwise a decent if loose approximation of TD’s style.
Stuck in a constant battle of wits, and are always trying to one-up each other when it comes to their careers and accomplishments.
A lot of it comes from comparing each other’s jobs, debating about which one is more “helpful” for humanity.
They also like outdoing each other in their spare good deeds, spontaniously doing a nice thing they can brag about later. It’s not because they have investment in bettering the lives of others, but because it makes them feel like “the better person” amongst themselves.
That’s why they both donated to the same blood bank within a few hours of each other. Kenneth found out what Adrianne was planning and couldn’t let her get one up over him.
It just so happened that there was a UFO in the troposphere that day, one with pilots intent on splicing some Earth genes…
Cody wasn’t born. He was synthesised from a slurry of human DNA that a rogue Codoid Voyager (or for humans who aren’t in the know, basically a flying saucer) had stolen from a blood bank.
He emerged from his synthesiser pod (those big banana-looking things) prematurely, due to the voyager crashing, and his pod sustaining severe damage.

This rushed awakening was a blessing in disguise, as he had managed to wander away from the crash site hours before authorities would arrive and confiscate the remaining pods (so they can be locked up in Area 51).
*insert story beats that I haven’t figured out yet here*
Neither of his parents wanted kids, nor have any clue how to actually deal with one, but they start to see the positives of having Cody around when they use him as a tool in their debates with one another.
This is all very messy and sporadic, but I wanted to cobble some Headcanons together, even if it doesn’t cover every base. I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open but I still want to put something out there.
How did Cody become a part of their lives? Why are these two in particular his “parents”? I’ll figure it out as I go.
Please, please, PLEASE give feedback for what I’ve gotten down so far. Whether or not they’re giving off the right vibes, they look representational for what they’re supposed to be, anything! Even if it’s critical.
At a later point I might add that nameless aunt that Sierra mentioned and Larry Console.
