Moved from an iPhone app podcast app back to a desktop podcast app. I initially tried iTunes but that seems to be broken.

I want to get into the habit of still having the downloads of podcasts I enjoy. I lost my Bedtime Boys podcast and that was my favourite podcast, wishing I could go back to relisten to Nightmare Shark too.

Been going back to old Jon Richardson pods simply bcos someone had the sense to back them up. And The Comedy Button eps are still there, luckily.

Been reading and learning about ancient history. Ancient technology.

Old maps can be written off as goofy alt world stuff, but people don't realise how much the land and sea has changed in 12,000 years of human history.

We didn't need to be vastly seafaring when the sea levels were 110m lower 12kYA.

You could walk from Africa to Europe. Doggerland connected England to mainland Europe. Beringia once connected Canada and Russia. The Sahara was once a jungle before the humid zone shifted. The Piri Reis map shows antartica before it was "discovered".

But with the north pole moving too, if it was once over Northern Canada, the equator would be between Brasil and Africa. It'd be 2 weeks by boat tops.
