the ocean, or mother as i call her, vast in her holding. she is where i go to remember—to be washed clean, to be healed. in her endless reach, i find something ancient, a knowing that settles my spirit. mother, who pulls and releases, who cradles every wound, who reminds me that all things return. she is memory, she is comfort, she is the deep place where i go to be made whole again.
