btw you don’t have to re-interpret the entire second half of Taylor’s discography just because she broke up with her boyfriend. A relationship can be good and genuine and still come to an end lol. I’ve seen people try to draw some hidden darkness or signs of a doomed future out of the Lover album and I mean, I get it. But I think people are doing that because it’s harder to embrace the reality that you can let someone into your inner world and give them your whole heart and still fall out of love later on. Life doesn’t always make narrative sense.
