I remember this ask! maybe this is petty to post now. this is the rest of my stance on the situation, and what will happen to this blog.
I'd written a whole response out that I simply swayed away from posting at fear of controversy beginning, from the beginning to where the writers blog was created. I got multiple asks and a few hatemails sent to my inbox exclusively about mischaracterisation about him, despite the fact I'd thought to make it clear that it was already pretty characterised in my own eyes. here's part of what was going to be my response.
I think the factor about the blog that was so disheartening is seeing everybody who had their own solidified opinions on who the characters are suddenly turning to exclusively appeasing what was canon. meewble had a post about this, posted on my behalf that was later decided to private as to not worry about the waves of harassment that could've been caused. learning later on that sebastian solace was not even himself, but a kpop idol, left me with some weird aches about it.
especially with the new reference sheet. I was right all things considered, dissapointedly.
I yearn for the fandom before all of the canon content became so easy to access, I yearn for the community built from fan creations and perceptions that people had so personal and dear to their heart before it all became one dimensional. especially as a writers blog, who mainly ever made his character into what I'd consider my own. who wanted people to take my ideas and run wild with them to create something they loved personally.
it's all began to settle in for us now. it gives such a strong feeling of vengeance to watch communities united together to create rewrites, to put passion and work lost before into their own ideal creations and rip them out of the hands of those who don't deserve them. it's heartbreaking to watch those who worked hard loose it all in a single moment, and it's a melancholy goodbye to those who will be leaving the fandom entirely.
so, spoken officially, where am I going?
truth is, I .. don't really know.
pressure is still my main interest, it's been the greatest experience to meet so many people I love and admire, to see all of your creations and creativity within the universes, to watch characters being created from your own minds and all of you who've just wanted to kiss that fish so bad.
i'd feel guilty to keep posting. but unlike others, I have nowhere else to go. I don't really have a fandom to fall back on, I don't have any plans of where else to turn. writing about him won't bring as many people in as before, it won't bring the inspiration i'd like to give out.
as posted previous, I'll be doing my own pressure rewrite. I don't in good faith want to have the material I adore so deeply associated with some people on that dev team. though, to begin with — I'll be going on break. I don't know how long for, nor if it will even buffer my usual atrocious upload schedule.
I implore all of you to spend time with family, to explore the outdoors. to start any new hobby no matter how difficult it seems. design new characters, ship them with your friends. try some new meals and make some new flavours of drinks.
if anybody had reccomendations of where I could go, I'll take any. if anybody would like to reach out, you're welcome. I love all of you. I hope you would all stick around for a while longer.

to those who are sticking with, or rewriting pressure. I introduce possible classifications to use as replacements that I will be using thus forth.
sebastian solace will now be referred to as X-13 , as given the z previous stands for zeal. remember to send support to ren in these times, ignore crowd control given by the devs as it rolls out. they do not care for the victim, they care for their social imagery.
please remember in this time that although we should all be pro repossession, this is still about a real human being. not characters, not the game. ren has been seriously damaged by everything and it will never be excusable by any means. I'm sending all support towards them and you all should to. people exclusively scrambling over being the next owner of whoever as a priority are sick, and should reevaluate the things they're speaking of. support victims, forever. I'm sorry that the team failed you when you needed somebody most, ren. I hope your recovery can be kind upon you.
Given that I've now engaged several times with the community, shared artwork and even financially contributed to Pressure, I feel a responsibility to put out a statement of any kind.
Renn, what happened to you was unforgivable. There's been a lot of stuff about the devs that have for a long time gone ignored because of the smear campaign against you and against anyone who tries to speak up about the bizarre relationship the Pressure team has with the community. You deserve your moment to be heard. You are believed. You deserve the best.
Please refrain from financially supporting the project as it puts money in the pockets of harmful people who have done everything they can to victimize themselves continually. As well as that, please don't bother Gianni about this situation, as he has done the right thing and removed himself from the game and situation in support of Renn.
They are not children, they're grown fucking people. They own a profitable IP. Don't hit me with that 'the brain finishes developing at 25' bullshit. That doesn't excuse discrediting a victim and protecting a rapist.
I've had quite enough of people defending the immaturity of the Pressure team.
I'll make another announcement set in stone that this will not prevent me from posting about sebastian, or pressure as a whole. I've had the energy enough to disconnect sebastian as a whole from the pressure franchise, he's basically an oc to me now and I'm glad to keep it that way.
some personal approaches may be taken, though otherwise any x reader, yumeship or oc ship content will maintain the same. disappointed does not begin to describe how I feel, and I hope ren is doing well in process of healing, and keeping themselves healthy. anybody is free to reach out to me for any reasoning, and I hope you are all doing well over the time regardless. thank you.
