(Letter) Miss Evie
Dear Evie,
My apologies for the delay. The unexpected vacation taken last week has managed to agitate a political hornet's nest. A new wildfire sparks before the smoke from the last has dissipated. Times like these make me wish that I were a braver man, or perhaps foolish enough to meddle with time and magic the way that some claim to do. If only the benefits outweighed the innumerable risks, no?
I hope that this letter finds you well. I cannot promise that I will come to your aid if ever you need it, but write to me if you find yourself in need of legal assistance or a favor from the military. I can arrange that much, at least. Hopefully you never find yourself in a position to require either of these things.
I will drop by Silvermoon one afternoon after things have settled down. It would be pleasant to discuss our craft again. There are so few of our kind capable of enjoying a simple spell for what it is. You, I think, may appreciate the mystery and wonder beneath every spark of summoned fire and arcane bolt. Divine, isn't it?
Warm regards, Sol
