solar has a curved scar from his sternum that follows the curve of his ribcage from when he got the shit kicked out of him during his run in the city (back when i first introduced him). he fucked around and found out essentially and he's not proud of that part of his life despite knowing he had no memory. it brings up painful memories of hurting his fellow killjoys and fellow juvie halls so he ignores it.

solars in that gray area of having harm ocd in that he scared of causing harm to those he wishes to treat. doctors would see ways he could have it but also probably hesitate to diagnose it. he take the hippocratic oath very seriously despite being trained through veterinary medicine and cannot stand to think that he could do harm. this guy holds himself to a very high moral standard
