ARKADOOO!!!!!
-@thelollipopkidthatgoesonanons
He was currently outside when he heard the very familiar voice and turned around with a smile on his face.
"Heh, hi there kid! Long time no see.." It's been at least few weeks since they seen each other.
Shhhh, keep your volume down!
(He turns around cautiously)
"Oh yeah..You're right." He said more quietly. Who knows if Ilya or any other person that he doesn't want to see is around?
(He giggles as he hid behind Ark, peeking out)
I'm playing hide and seek, I don't wanna be found.
"...With who?" He rised an eyebrow.
Uhhh, not sure exactly. I don't know his name. Ru didn't want to play with me because she said my hiding spots are so obvious and she has better things to do.....
"Mhmmm..I get it."
"Is she still mad at me over that accident? Which was even my damn fault." He rolls his eyes. At least Ru isn't the one looking for the Lollipop Kid, he doesn't want to hear her complaining about that whole thing! It wasn't intentional, how was he supposed to know that the cave will collapse?
"How does that guy look like then? Also..ugh..Yes, you're terrible at hide and seek if you think that hiding behind someone is a good hiding spot." He's painfully honest.
I'm not telling you anything since you insulted me.
(He stuck his tongue out)
What would be a good hiding spot then?
He thinks about it for a moment..Where was he hiding in the past when playing hide and seek as a kid?
"Any place where someone can't see you from. Bushes, behind trash containers, hehe in trash containers, on top of the tree.." He then smirks widely. "Also you can just go home, stare through the window and watch them looking for you like complete idiots."
"Great fun."
Hmm....can you help me get on a tree then?
"You don't know how to climb..?" He rolled his eyes but ended up picking up the Lollipop Kid enough so he could get onto the tree next to them.
I do know how to climb! I just never managed to get to the top.
(He adjusted himself on a branch, sturdy enough to hold him. He briefly looked down before shaking his head.)
"Well, won't hurt to try now! Unless you're scared.." It sounded like a challange.
In worst case, he will have to climb and help the Lollipop Kid to get down from the tree or catch him if he falls down.
Is that a challenge? You're barking up the wrong tree, pal! Pun intended.
(He crosses his arms and slowly held his hands against the trunk, attempting to stand)
I wonder if he can climb too....
"Haha, perhaps it is a challange!" Arkadij chuckles and looks around. He wonders how the person who the Lollipop kid is playing with looks like.
SHHH! YOU MIGHT REVEAL MY LOCATION!
(He shuffles, covering himself with leaves)
"Tsss..Okay, okay!" He chuckles and then tries to stay quiet.
(It was completely silent and unbearably dark, with nothing but shadows stretching endlessly around the tree. Then, from somewhere in the distance, there was a faint sound of rustling footsteps. They slowly grew louder, echoing through the darkness as if someone or something was getting closer....)
Arkadij simply standed next to the tree, just looking around. When he heard the footsteps, he looked in ths direction where he heard the noise coming from. Hm, who could this be?
(A man, probably Arkadij's age approached the scene. He hadn't noticed Ark or the tree. The man seemed strangely out of place. He was dressed in the style of old money, tailored clothes of fine quality. Around his neck hung a bright golden sun emblem, gleaming against the darkness like a sliver of captured daylight. He narrowed his eyes and peered into the shadows, scanning the area with suspicion, as though searching for someone he expected to find there...)
Arkadij finally noticed the man, he seemed to be looking for someone..Probably this man is Lollipop Kid's new friend. Does that kid have any friends his age..? This man looked like he's Arkadij's age or maybe a bit older.
Arkadij pulled out the newly "bought" pack of cigarettes and decided to pretend that he's just standing here and smoking. Totally didn't helped the Lollipop Kid with hiding.
(The man slowly cracked his knuckles, each sharp pop echoing through the silence. He tilted his head back, rolling his shoulders as his gaze wandered. Then his eyes caught sight of Arkadji. His head turned toward him with an unsettling twist, his expression unreadable. He said nothing. Instead, he began moving closer.)
Arkadij simply stares at the stranger, doesn't seem to care too much. The way his head twisted? He saw weirder things, probably this guy is just another visitor.
"The fuck do you want?" The swearing part was quieter, the Lollipop Kid could hear it after all.
"Heh, sorry news paper guy #2! I don't have more cigarettes to share." He chuckles while hiding the pack of cigarettes into his pocket.
Newspaper guy? Huh, never noticed that.
(He inquired, casting a glance down at his clothes. His voice softened as he slipped into a warmer, polished Transatlantic voice.)
Well, now, sir, I don’t make a habit of smoking unless it’s a particular sort of shag. A fellow’s got to have standards, you know.
