It was a pristine winter's day in Canterlot. The castle's halls were quiet, save for the sound of a single pony. A white pegasus named Civil. He wore his usual green tie and had a melancholy gait, He is an adviser for the Royal Government, his duties vary, but usual involve the road and rail system. It was close to Hearth Warming Eve, yet like every year he was working away through the holiday. He sighed sadly as he entered his quiet office and sat down to work.

{♕☼♕} —- After being informed of Civil’s clock-in, Celestia decided to go see him herself instead of sending a guard to fetch him for her. After all, as good of a worker as he was he deserved a personal pop in every now and then. She made her way over to his door and knocked twice with her hoof before letting herself in. "Good morning Civil Servant.", she said greeting with a bright smile.

"Princess Celestia! How are you?" Blueblood smiled to her and bowed slightly to her.

{♕☼♕} —- "Ah, Prince Blueblood." She returned the bow to him. "I’m doing fine, busier as of late trying to get through the upcoming week’s schedule. And yourself? Are you keeping up with your studies? What brings you here?" Celestia loved personal visits from those she considers close to her heart, she never did get to see them often. At least not unless it was through royal duties.

"I am doing quite fine." He smiled up to her and flicked his mane out of his face. "My studies are going quite well, thank you. I have already begun writing my tenth book, I am to base it upon the formation of Saddle Arabia’s sand hills, a most interesting sight to see but they…" He realised that he was blabbering now and awkwardly chuckled as he knew his mistake.

"Do forgive me, I have spent too much time behind my desk. What of out latest Princess, how is she?"

{♕☼♕} —- Celestia laughed lightly at the prince's enthusiastic rambling, "It's quite alright, I'd like to hear more about it some time. She is doing wonderful actually, after recent events it seems she's come across her own kingdom to lead. I am very proud of the Princess she's become I always knew she was destined for great things. As you all are."

"Yeah! The Celebration!" she said, looking slightly confused, though forcing a smile. "I'll get on that right away!"

{♕☼♕} —- The princess let a small huff of laughter slip under her breath. "Thank you, Rainbow Dash." Getting to know Twilight’s friends and watching over them as she had Twilight for so long was something she enjoyed very much. It was interesting to see just how different they all are from her. Although she tries not to think about it that way too much, it makes her sound old!

"Hey, Celestia...I mean Princess! Need any help with anything?"

{♕☼♕} —- She quirked a brow at the blue mare’s slip up when addressing her but kept her smile. "There are a few more boxes of decor that need hauling in, if you really would like to help. Thank you again for coming out to help us with the preparations for the Celebration." She got up from her throne and walked over to the guards for a moment who had called her over to check something off, then turned back to Rainbow Dash. "You and your friends are always wonderful to have here in Canterlot."
