as luna made her presence known, nolee could already feel that she was in trouble. but as she turned around to face her, she remained with a straight face as she continued to obviously chew the pastry. she avoided eye contact at the mention of her being childish. to nolee, it just seemed like her cousin was overreacting. “no one’s ordering anything, they’re not watching,” she gestured to the preoccupied customers. “shouldn’t it technically count as a break then? — you mean to tell me you’ve never done the same thing?”
luna couldn’t believe that her cousin had even attempted to hide from her after eating a good meant for sales. she scoffed as nolee tried to make an attempt to argue, wanting to do nothing but hit her across the head. “it doesn’t matter if nobody’s ordering anything. your job is to take order and ring them up. that’s what a cashier does. do you think i’m paying you to eat my food?, she asked, handing moving down to her hips. rolling her eyes, she truly couldn’t believe everything she was hearing. “yah! do you want me to send you back where you came from?! this act may play with anyone else but not me. i’m not afraid to send you back to your parents, don’t test me.”, she exclaimed, almost too loud to where some heads had turned towards them in the store.
