READ TAGS + RULES BEFORE INTERACTING. this is a private / selective multi muse roleplay blog feat. ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐๐จ. [ . . . ] inspiration for all muses are taken from a vast majority of existing medias as well as headcanon and the source. any work that is not mine, i will credit appropriately.
๐. understand that i have a life which sometimes leaves me away from tumblr for weeks. so very often i am on hiatus without mention, and i will not apologize for it. if this isn't something you can handle, then do not follow me. i mean it. i will go 8 months not answering your thread and pick it up like no time passed. if that isn't something you can handle, then do not follow me. i will not entertain guilt-tripping behavior.
๐๐. i don't always do follow for follow. if you're mutuals with one of my close friends then there is a much higher possibility.
๐๐๐. i do not practice exclusivity with people i hardly know. i am much more open to mains. however, i do not collect muses. if i am writing with a certain character already, i will not seek out other writers of this character.
๐๐. i love writing pre-established dynamics, often if someone sends in a ask before we have written, i will make my muse speak as if they know each other and we can fill the details in later. i will always ask if something is okay if i feel like it might be over stepping. i am okay with first meetings as well. i love writing shippy things, however i do not ship easily if we are not friends. i would like to actually have a friendship with the person i am shipping my muse with, that being said, i am perfectly okay with unrequited dynamics. on a side note, i do not do pre-established family dynamics unless we have plotted intensely.
๐. everything that i create here is mine unless i state otherwise. i understand being inspired by other writers, but i would appreciate it if you did not steal or copy anything from me.
๐๐. do not interact with me if you use AI in anyway to roleplay. i will block you.
๐๐๐. listen, if you follow me first and i follow back and you make absolutely no effort in trying to communicate with me and i find out you soft block me. i will hard block at this point to avoid accidentally following you again, because at this point you have shown me you have no interest and no desire to write with me, and i will give you the same energy back. so please do not attempt to follow me again or connect with me again on any of your other blogs either. like i mention before, i do not always do follow for follow, so if i follow you i have an interest in writing with you, however if you have read my rules you will know that work keeps me away from tumblr most of the time, so if you do not follow me with the intention of reaching out to me, then do not follow me at all. they'll be no hard feelings, but if you soft block after i follow you, then i will close further communications with you. i have no space for impatience, lack of communication or just bad energy.

โ apparently so, โ he pondered this. now his mind was curious. โ i believe after randall and marielle woke from their trance they became closer. โ he swallowed now, feeling a shudder of fear run down his spine. โ whatever they experienced has brought them closer by way of trauma. โ almost as thought he had a thought he reached into his pocket and pulled a small notebook from it and began to quickly jot something down. โ someone must keep notes on the behaviors. iโm not that kind of doctor but i imagine one will, or rather, i hopeโฆ if i can still manage that, that one will come through this town. โ he sighed. โ whatever the case. he is now living there and he is crude and i find him to be a terrible house mate. โ
โ the wires? โ he cocks his head. โ i see no point, they have electricity. i doubt it was going to lead them to whoever is keeping us trapped here. that all seems so utterly pointlessโฆ โ the expression on his face is dumbfounded; โ that was truly the reason the ruined their home; i wonder, do they feel better now that they know? โ he looked back to his note curiously. โ jadeโฆ โ a beat. โ yes, yes, alrightโฆ โ he smiles now. โ do you know what youโll be doing when youโre finally free from this place? โ
jadeโs only reactions were in nods and expressions, since he liked to let patrick convey the entirety of his thoughts as he processed through them. patrick was possibly the only person he allowed to do that without interrupting. jade watched patiently as patrick scrawled down something into his notebook, โ itโs funny, because i canโt imagine anyone being calm enough to manage the people of this town without going crazy themselves. โ jade sighed along with patrick and turned his attention back to him as he noticed his gaze shifting to a corner of the bar or something other than his companions face. he didnโt want to get lost among his thought, โ well, i hope you find your change of quarters quite commendable. โ jade felt himself smile, and realized he was happy that patrick chose to come to him.
jade gave a brief nod to patrickโs question of the wires, โ yes, the wires. โ then jade nodded once more, and another sigh escaped, this one more exasperated than the last, โ now weโre all just painfully aware that those things are underneath the town. glad they donโt decide to dig upโif that was even possible. โ a silence passed between them now, allowing their previous topic time to breathe and settle in the space with their thoughts. jade knew that they would continue to pick apart this town with theories, but it was comforting to know that he would not have to sit alone in this silence.
โ hm? โ jade addressed patrick and felt his eyes soften. there was a question coming, and jade didnโt know why his chest suddenly got tight, then patrick smiled. god, jade felt undone by something so simple. jade sat up and breathed in and nodded quickly and took a moment to think, โ itโs funnyโฆ if you had asked me a few weeks back, i might have had the answer for youโฆ but, i feel so changed by this place that i wouldnโt know what to do once itโs overโฆ โ jade pulled his eyes away and sought that corner again, and felt overwhelmed with certainties and expectations and found himself frowning, โ iโฆ i donโt know, patrickโฆ but, whatever it isโฆ โ he looked back to patrick, his eyes were wide and shocked at the revelations he came to, and he bit his tongue, not quite brave enough for that confession after all, โ ahh, nothingโฆ it feels too hopeful to wish for right now. โ
โ the longer you stay here, the more you have to indulge in thisโฆ new style. โ jade sighed and glanced down at his clothes. he had grown to like a bit of what he started to wear out of convenience, but he missed being able to dress as impressive as his mind worked. no one here ever took him seriously, and especially now that he couldnโt dress smart, โ youโd think the only people who ever got lost here were a group of hippies and lumberjacks... still, you manage to make it look... well... very nice actually.... โ jade pondered a moment, really taking in this new look that buck had to adorn because of their circumstance, โ huh... โย ( @c4shman )

and here, jade thought his temper was bad.ย at least when jade blew his top there was little chance that anyone would end up with a broken nose or some missing teeth.ย so, while jade didnโt shrink when paddy was near, he was careful not to say anything that might result in any broken limbs. speaking of the devil,ย paddy looked very angry at the moment,ย โ you look like you could use a large dose of pot and a liter of boozeโฆ โย jade was sitting in some chairย to lounge in while thinking over the millions of different theories passing through his mind,ย โ get into it with donna? or was it dale? i bet it was dale. โ dale was always the likely suspect, and jade hoped he had a few broken bones.
jade fumbled with the door handle as he let himself into the bar that was now his home. the feeling he felt was more than a eurekaโit was like having a case of amnesia then having your memories swallow you whole with a gaping maw. jade of course had never had amnesia, he could only assume that was how it felt. overwhelming, emotional and lonely.ย he hadn't even noticed patrick's silhouette leaning against the wall as he sat in the booth, until his body shifted ever so slightly. โ patrick.. โ jade's voice was just above a whisper, distant and too small for him. he staggered to patrick's side and sat next to him, โ i need a fucking drink... โ ( @icereborn )
โ buck rightโฆiโm jade.ย โย he said almost absentmindedly as if he was dismissing the words as soon as they left his mouth. ย he hadnโt even bothered to look away from the glass cups and bottles arranged haphazardly on the floor of what used to be the bar, ย โย i heard victor say something about how some of the new people scare him, ย and i think he might have described someone who looked like you. ย โ ย jade took a moment to take in buckโs appearance. ย his mind paused if only for a second. ย it was not scary to jade. ย there was something so sharp and clean about him that made jade a little jealous, ย but mostly he found his face pleasant to look at, ย but he pushed the thoughts of the old jade aside and gave his attention back to the work at hand.
โย youโre welcome to the bar, ย itโs open to those of us smart enough to know how to use the distiller.ย โย jade stopped for a moment. ย the image of tom passed through unprompted and he breathed in softly. ย he hadnโt even known tom well enough. ย in fact he has spoken to tom more in his head than he ever had when he was alive. ย jade looked at buck again and sighed once more, ย โ in fact, ย i need a breakโฆ let me pour you one if youโre staying.ย โ / @c4shman
he couldnโt stand the smell around colony house. it was rotten, something was in the air and the relationships were strained taut, one word and the whole place would crash down. โ heard you fixed the โฆ โ he gestures to the alcohol. โ that shit. โ he turned back to jade โ he could tell he interrupted his thoughts with his presence. โ can i ask you something? โ now his voice had gone too soft, it was all wrong. he couldnโt seem to recall who he was before coming here; and despite the horrors. he felt safe. โ how would you feel if someone told you they didnโt want to leave? hypothetically, and all. โ he gave a light shrug. โ what if they felt safer here than they had in a long time? โ the words felt sick falling from his lips. he tried to avoid eye contact, eyes staying on his glass.
โ i wasโฆ wanted. am wanted. โ the words left him all too quickly, he tried to rush to pick them up, to bandage the wound heโd just done to his reputation. โ i wasnโt likeโฆ a criminal. or โ โ shit. โ can i get a drink? โ his heart beat heavy in his chest and his anxiety shook in his fingertips, causing the glass to hit the table with an odd rhythm.
jade had turned his head to cook, ย broken from his thought and he couldnโt help the irritation that naturally settled in the places on his face. ย he had rarely felt any happiness since learning the truth of this place. ย he wished he could blissfully live through this nightmare believing it all had been a make believe story for purely the entertainment of those who could afford it. ย however, ย once the illusion was broken, ย he was hauled right into the deep end of it. ย he rarely found any peace, ย not even the fabricated peace that some of the residence seemed to be content with. ย jade was haunted by visions that came without the use of any substance. ย drinking seemed to dull their affect, ย so as soon as the bar became vacant he moved himself in, ย โ the alcohol still tastes like shit, ย but i can guarantee you tastes a hundred times better then the pig swill they tried to pass off as โvodkaโ.ย โ ย jade scoffed and shook his head.
jade had been to absorbed with what he was previously speaking about, ย he almost missed it. ย there was a confession beneath his words. ย something that cook wanted to tell him,ย ย โ wellโฆ iโd say that your life must be fucking horrible if this feels safe to you.ย โ ย jade made grand gestures to the place and let his arms fall without grace to his side. ย he looked hard at cook now, ย understand exactly what he wasnโt trying to say. ย there was something back in the real world that cook didnโt want to face. ย jade sighed and took up the seat beside cook,ย ย โ sure, ย letโs get you a drink. โ ย jade reached for the bottle further down the counter and poured cook a hefty amount of vodka,ย ย โ also, ย listenโฆ you donโt have to tell me anythingโฆ but because iโm the only one here with you, ย if you need me toโฆ iโll listen.ย โ ย
โ kristiโฆ โ he began, trying to swallow his anger down. it was bitter and uncomfortable in his chest. it all had built up until it was aching now, at this point, he did not know how to express it without breaking bonds. โ she let marielle, or perhaps it was just a duel decision between the two of them, โ he huffed the words out and sat down in an empty seat. โ they allowed randall to move in. โ disbelief on his features, the same expression heโd hoped to see mirrored back so that he would know this was not an overreaction on his part. โ we hardly had any room before marielle and marielle was bad enough. they had no right, iโve been made to feel beyond uncomfortable in my temporary โฆ home? โ he pushes out a deep exhale. โ it has gotten to me. the stress will wear me downโฆ โ
โ the matthewsโฆ they ruined a perfectly good home by destroying the foundation of the house. โ he stated, matter of factly. โ did they ever sayโฆ why? why were they digging a hole. โ he mused, his mind running away from him. pulled back to the conversation by the mention of one bed. โ well, i donโt mind sitting for my rest, jade. youโre the one writing up a plan for the rest of us to escape. you need more rest than i do, besidesโฆ โ his eyes trail to his medicine chest and he clears his throat, dry with a strong want. โ ahโฆ never mind. it's nothing. โ
when patrick spoke jade gave him his full attention like he did no other. ย he wasnโt sure why he was so drawn to patrickโs way of speaking,ย ย but he had been caught up in the sound of his voice now and that made his chest feel tight with a want heโd not felt in a long time or made space for. jade swallowed hard and he scoffed at the knowledge that the towns hospital couple had allowed randall a space in their โhomeโ,ย ย โ oh? have they gotten him to behave in a way donna couldnโt? โ ย jade rolled his eyes, ย โ thatโs incredibly rude and unprofessional on their part, butโฆ โ ย jadeโs brows perked up and he canted his head, ย โ perhaps having a doctor closer to town would save a lot more lives. โย he looked to patrick to gauge his thoughts on this, ย โย well, as i saidโฆ youโre welcome here, and youโre welcome to the bedโi can hardly sleep anyway. โ
at the mention of the matthews jade felt himself growing agitated. they were possibly the worst family to ever exist with in a nightmare town. ย โ something about trying to find out where the wires were coming from. โ ย jade reached for a near empty bottle of liquor and downed what remained, โ it was very clear from the beginning that nothing in this town makes any fucking sense. โย jade shook his head and his gaze softened when his eyes fell back onto patrick, ย โ no noโฆ i insistโฆ or at least switch off with me on itโฆ deal? โ
he could not contain the anger and resentment that had begun to cling to him. it was becoming all the he was. this town had a way of consuming the good you had and poisoning it. shoving what remained back in to fester and rot inside of you โ he tried to keep silent most days, his advice had gone ignored for too long. and it had long since begun to affect his mental health. โ iโve grown tired of this town. โ irritation thick in his tone as he leaned against the bar. โ my mind is restless and weary. i cannot focus. i do not wish to spend another moment in that clinic with kristi and her fiancee. โ he shook his head, his finger tracing around the rim of the glass. he felt himself shudder with discomfort. โ where are you staying now? let me stay with you. i cannot bear it, jade. โ
jade was absorbed in his own incessant mind. ย ever since he came to this town he was hallucinatingโseeing dead people, ย things that werenโt there and sometimes those things reached out to him as if they could physically make contact.ย ย he wasnโt sure what might happen if he actually let those nightmares close enough. patrickโs voice tore him from his mind, his voice was pleasant to jade, even through his frustrations. jade had grown irritated with most of the town,ย ย but patrick did not treat him like he was a mad man rantingโhe respected his theories despite all logic. ย he was smart enough to know that all reason could be thrown out in a place where nothing made sense.
โ yeahโฆ figured it might be getting a little crowded up there. โ ย jade placed a subtle hand on the symbol scrawled in christopherโs journal and sighed deeply before shutting it.ย โ i was staying with kenny and his momโฆ but, itโs gotten a little too crowded. โย jade scoffed and breathed out harshly, aggrieved at the mere thought of jimโs face crossing his mind,ย โ the matthews family has taken up residence and wellโฆ i never get a moment to myself. โย jade traced the symbol with his finger on the closed journal, โ and youโve met jimโฆ not exactly the cuddliest of needles pricking at your spine. โ another breath escaped and he felt his irritation start to diminish,ย โ stay here thenโbut, thereโs only one bed.. and well, itโs not the roomiest, but i havenโt been able to sleep most nights. โ
elation shot through him at her smile and a smile came to him easy then. he gave a vague shrug at her question of stan. he didnโt want to think about him right now; โ stay away from her lion, shes a murderer! โ theyโd disagreed on that part. he thought sara was misunderstood โ there was so much about this place that they all didnโt understand. how did they know she wasnโt be controlled by those creatures; he would craft his own theories in relation to sara that made more sense. he knew her. she was not a killer.
he walked into the room and looked around, wondering if ghosts stuck around and if they had, did nathan choose to protect sara? he didnโt want to think to hard on that stuff. he kept his focus on sara, it made his head hurt less. โ stanโs probably at the bar. since tom he โ heโs been taking up space there. โ he set ash on the floor. โ donโt you get lonely? โ he turned to look at sara. โ scared? โ at night, i mean. i wouldnโt mind staying at night just to talk until we pass out. โ his voice betrayed him by growing shy and quiet. โ ohโฆ thanks sara. โ he nudged ash with a small smirk. โ say thank you ash. โ the dog sat there looking up at ash, shaking. he shook his head and looked back to sara. โ iโm sure heโs thanking you in some way. โ
lion made it feel so easy for sara to smile. like a fragment of who she used to be lived in his eyes whenever he looked at her. she didnโt see the fear, pity or the anger that the rest of the town felt towards her. when the door was shut she could pretend for the moment that the rest of them werenโt there, that there was a second chance for her. she selfishly wanted to hold on to these moments more than anything.
โ lonely? โ sara echoed it back to him. she felt a gnawing ache in her chest. she wanted to deny it. she wanted to wish the feeling away. she did not want him to look at her with sadness or pity. sara breathed in and gave a vague shrug, โ i suppose everyone here is lonely and scared sometimesโฆ โ she turned away for him to head towards the kitchen, โ there are so many things that none of us understand, and that makes things even more scary. โ
she pulled a book out from a drawer in the kitchen, โ you both donโt have to thank meโฆ itโs the least i can do. โย sara set the book on the counter and knelt to the ground to hold her hand out for ash, โ if you likeโฆ youโre welcome to stay here for as long as you likeโboth you and ash. โ sara glanced up to him and smiled, โ and if ash needs to use the bathroom when night comes around, i can set up some place in the basement. โ
he let her speak, watching her carefully, ash on a worn leash beside him shaking from the cold. he leaned down and lifted the dog up, holding it close to him. noticing the pain in her voice made his heart sink. it felt heavy in his chest and he breathed sharp through his nose. โ nahโฆ no sara. you donโt gotta do that. โ lion knew he would be in pieces if something had happened to stan โ his brother had warned him multiple times to stay away from sara but he couldnโt let her be alone to sit with this guilt and remorse. it would eat her alive. โ i โ i justโฆ didnโt think youโd wanna be alone. โ
a beat. โ if something had happened to stan. โ he gave a vague shrug. his throat was getting tight with sorrow. โ i know i wouldnโt be able to go it alone and i'm not about to let you just cause everyone thinks youโre the village witch. โ he gave a gesture to the door. โ can i come in โ you can teach me that recipe and we can feed ash. andโฆ โm not much of a talker but iโll listen. if you want to. โ he looked over his shoulder to make sure stan wasnโt anywhere in sight then back to sara. eyes pleading.
there was something warm about him.ย something she wished that she could keep, and protect.ย but she knew what this place had stolen from her, what it had made her steal.ย she would never be that person who deserved happiness again, and she had come to terms with that.ย her soul was stained with the blood of the innocent.ย she had no right claiming another soul, yetโฆ all she wanted was this.ย the warmth of knowing someone cared, someone to check on her to see if she was okay.ย she didnโt deserve it, but she wanted it.
โ youโre sweet.ย โ she said, her mouth pulled into a frown as she observed the onlookers behind him whispering, โ i donโt think it matters anymoreโwhat i want.ย โ saraโs arm instinctively reached up to grab her other arm in a way to comfort herself, โ isโฆ is stan busy? โ a part of her was easing herself in on the idea of letting him in, while the other part struggled to balance the guilt on her shoulders.
sara couldnโt help the laugh that bubbled to the surface at being called โthe village witchโ.ย she tried hard to not let her sorrow mix into this odd sense of levity she felt in this moment with him, โ village witch.ย โ she smiled softly and stood aside from the door, โ you and ash can come inโฆ and iโll teach you how to make the dog food that nathan used to make.ย โ
โ you shouldnโt keep coming here. ย โ sara fidgeted with the ceramic pieces of the ornament that had been shattered outside of the diner. ย she had been hoping that one day she might be able to piece it back together,ย but every time she looked at it,ย her heart grew heavy with guilt and grief,ย โ iโฆ i can give you the recipe that nathan used to make ashโs dog foodโฆ that wayโ โ she breathed in sharply. ย the memory of nathan rushing forward like a swift wind. ย she fought back the urge to cry,ย her throat feeling dry and aching,ย โ iโm sorryโฆ but,ย iโm not a good person and you shouldnโt be associated with meโฆ โย / @lionring
i realize that lately it is hard for me to get back to the 'tumblr norm' of things. i don't care about likes / follows or even a huge crowded dash. i like to form real relationships with people that i write with and some of those have started to dwindle down because i have stopped reaching out to people. not for any reason, just got busy. i do want to write here again and write with everyone who still follows me even though i appear every new moon and usually its to tell everyone of a current obsession then disappear. anyway, i am still on discord, always lurking in someway.
