LINE! (Because why not and just because I wanted to prove you wrong about the Line asks disappearing -3- )
6/10, alright you proved me wrong. Though who else will send one in?
"I can’t! I’m scared! Haven’t you ever climbed a tree? What if I fall?!" She’d definitely die from the fall. "I need to climb shorter trees…" Naminé shook her head, embarrassed to be stuck in this situation.
Seeing that there wasn't anything around, a small sigh escaped his lips. "Okay there are two thins we can do then alright? You either jump down and I catch you, or I climb up there and bring you down." He had to help her down, one way or another.
Anyone want a starter?
Cloud blinked before he let out a small grunt of understanding. If that’s what Zack said it was all about.. then that’s what it was all about. He trusted him. His eyes watched the first, expecting him to move on, before just looking confused as he turned again.
"W-Wha!?" He half whispered in surprise. "you… you can tell..?" What kind of training had Zack gone through to be able to tell something like that so quick!? "A-Ah.. well… A couple of other cadets and I have been.. sent out to take out a couple of monsters. It seems easy enough… but.. I don’t know.. they’re nothing like the monsters they’ve had us battle against in the simulator after all…"
"Just a few monsters, you'll be alright kiddo. Yeah, the real ones might hurt you a bit more. Though, its basically the same thing. Don't worry about it alright, you'll do fine really." After thinking a while, Zack's famous teasing smile grew on his face once more.
"I mean, your dream is to be in SOLDIER right? Well, if you can't even handle a few monsters, then I don't know. I might take back my word to the higher ups."With that, he turned his back towards the cadet, knowing that if anything. This will get the other up and running once more.
Glancing at the clock she almost winces. She was already past due for a break. “I’m about to go right now. Let me just pack up.” She locks the computer, turning the monitor off. Last time she left it unlocked not only did she get a stern lecture, but apparently someone mass emailed the whole company…they never did get caught, actually. Checking everything was in place and grabbing her purse she leaves her station. “Ready?”
Nodding, he looked over to her and smiled. "Always am, so, do you wish to go somewhere specific for coffee?" He didn't really care where they went really, he wasn't a picky person. So he was fine with about any suggestion she came up with.
'Hero' for hire. || badass-barmaid ||
Zack Fair.
Something about his laugh and that name triggered her memories. Suddenly, she could remember a flash and a pose of someone next to her. Keeping it to herself for now, the barmaid only smiled. “Thank you. I think that’s why it draws people in. Even though it’s not much, it feels like home.”
His question made her chew on the inside of her cheek. “No…not originally, but the slums have been my home for a few years,” she replied, hoping he wasn’t trying to sniff out any information. Not that many people knew she was from Nibelheim.
Looking at her reaction, he gave a small nod to a thought in his head. So it had to be her, well, he was happy she made it out alive. Putting both of his elbows on the bar counter, he rested one hand on the other. Closing his eyes, a shaky sigh escaped his lips. He knew he was about to enter something that, he stepped on the wrong land mine, he wouldn't be welcomed back there most likely.
Making sure he spoke in only a whisper, loud enough so only she can hear it. A sad smile formed on his lips. "Sorry...For not protecting your town like I was suppose to...I'm happy you made it out, both you..And Cloud."
"Um… I’m stuck." She had accidentally climbed too high into the tree and now she was too afraid to come back down. "Help? How do I get back down?" Her hands gripped the branches tightly, too afraid to move.
"Well..the same way you got up there. Can't you climb back down?" Looking around, he wanted to see if he could find some sort of item that can help her get down just in case.
