"You're lucky you look cute in it." The thief replied with a smirk as he walked over to her, holding out a cup of coffee. "You sleep well?" He asked, onyx orbs gazing at her lovingly.

Chance to Spare [Vegeta x Tifa, Saiyan Saga AU]
cc-vegeta “It would be a waste to kill such a strong woman like yourself, so I’m giving you a once in a lifetime offer. Surrender and join us, and you will be spared.” // Saiyan Saga AU, while they are waiting for Goku
@badassbarmaid answered:
Staring at the Saiyan, Tifa's eyes narrowed, her energy strong and crackling around her as her emotions rose.
She had no idea who this was, and it was the first time she saw someone like her on this planet, beyond Goku. "I will never surrender to a tyrant," she spat, standing her ground.
“Oh? A tyrant? Is that a new one, Nappa?” Prince Vegeta commented with a sneer then glanced towards his partner. He eyed Tifa curiously, though his expression showed disappointment. Oh well, he gave her a chance.

"sooo i hear ya got somethin' new on the menu? what's it this time?"
[Continued from Here]
"... So do you, Tifa." He reached out to gently take her hand in his, looking into those eyes with such a soft expression. It was quite serious to him to have this moment, and to have her know how much he really cared. After all, he never knew when they would get another chance for any kind of peace, because battle always followed them. "I dunno why I've been so distant from you and the other's, lately... I'm sorry for it, but I just thought it would resolve itself. I wanna make it up to you."

His eyes are more focused on the scenery and patrons at first, not terribly worried about any funny business coming from the keepers behind the bar. Reflex still has him giving a small, barely noticeable flinch when she first sets down a drink in front of him, drawing his attention away from everything else.
He has to strain to hear her words, but its still better than getting shouted at above the music and noise. He's silent at first, lifting up the glass and giving it a skeptical glance and sniff, before taking the tiniest sip. Just water, and nothing funny about it as far as he can tell.
Setting it back down, he reaches for his phone hanging by a lanyard around his neck, typing out a response on his phone screen before holding it up for her to read.
[Anything you recommend?]
@badassbarmaid liked for a starter.
In hindsight, Noctis supposed he should have ditched the uniform but he'd left his post rather suddenly during the chaos of what had happened to sector 7. He hadn't been able to stay after that. He'd seen enough that night to start to question his belief in Shinra. He didn't just want out, he needed it. He'd have to find something else to wear before long. The SOLDIER uniform brought too much attention to him and Shinra didn't take too kindly to deserters. It was just lucky for him that they had more important things to deal with.
"Easy, I'm not here to fight," he assured her, slowly raising his arms to show he meant no harm. It was pure chance that he happened to come across them in Under Junon. "I'm just laying low until the next ship to Costa Del Sol departs."

Cloud got lost a bit in thought, sitting at the bar. His gaze happened to be on Tifa for the most part. Seeing her in what looked to be a state of zen while she was behind the bar. Costa Del Sol was still recovering a bit after Hojo's little impromptu experiment and there was no bartender around to serve cocktails. It made him feel at peace though he kept his stoic face for the most part, though what happened in Kalm still made him feel terrible, even with the apology he gave. Nibelheim had been an absolute nightmare of a memory for him, so clear and yet so cloudy at the sametime.
"I ended up not being able to shake the 7th. Back in Junon I mean." Cloud said, finally breaking the silence. "I ended up watching their backs while the other Shina soldiers came at us. They were Hellbent on keeping me alive."

"I don't know what you put in that drink, but I need another, like right now," Dante said, wiping his mouth with the napkin nearby. "Is it always quiet like this?"
