the rpc has been falling apart for a while, but it feels like it’s just getting worse lately lol people are so quick to turn on each other and smack labels on people, judge what they write, judge what they create, create these arbitrary standards to decide who is a ‘good’ rper and who is a ‘bad’ rper. and im not referring to quality of writing here, i’m referring straight up to people deeming these actual people behind computers as being either good people or bad people based on their blogs. based on the content that interests them, the themes and topics they write, the fcs they prefer to use, it’s just...
it’s depressing, honestly. more people are going private because no one can trust each other and everyone’s ready to go at each other’s throat for the tiniest thing. people are talking over each other, not listening to each other. and don’t even get me started on the content creator drama that’s been unfolding it’s absolute insanity what’s going on right now.
i generally don’t get bothered by stuff or try not to let it affect how i operate on here, but shit. tumblr is supposed to be one of my means of enjoyment and escape from the bs that is life. but it’s been drama and anger nonstop these days. i’ve never considered leaving the rpc before. i’m one of those dinosaurs that have been around a while but damn like...it might be time to pack up and call it done. or take a break or something, i don’t know. it’s exhausting out here these days. i’m tired of logging into discord and my friends have screenshots of some new drama that happened with x people and such and such blogs.
