A roguh test of the girl putting out a fire in her hair (Long story).
Here is my rough pass for the girl’s walk cycle. As I told you before, this was a nightmare to animate not only because of the uniqueness of the walk, but I also had to account for the weight of her feet and her feelings about the whole thing.
The girl’s walk cycle is a murder. The arcs, the weight of the feet and the lines of action regarding the girl’s reactions require much attention. And that’s even getting into the hair and clothing I’ll be adding in clean-up.
A couple of rough planning poses for Sc. 52
Welcome to the production blog for Sole Mate, my senior thesis film for the Fashion Institute of Technology. It’s the story of a girl with big feet (Tootsie Grande) meeting her match in a boy with big hands (Hans Palmer).
It has to be in the can by the end of April, so I better get crackin’!
