// ONE MORE WALK CYCLE TO DO AND I CAN GET TO ANIMATING THE ACTUAL THING
walk cycle doodles
I think in my next game everyone is going to be a ghost so they can all float and I don't have to animate any more walk cycles. But this one is starting to get fun, with the addition of a floppy hat.
Animating this made me remember about one of my favourite campfire songs as a kid!
I’ve mostly avoided covering tough, angry boys as there are so many in games, but i’ll make an exception for Lincoln Clay. He’s earned that anger.
Walk cycles/style tests for my pandemic-delayed next animated short project, The Death of Me. This is our protagonist, Kazuo, who is – as protagonists tend to be – going through it.
I did these once character sheets were done to get myself familiar with drawing him in motion, and to test some style and pipeline stuff. He came out a little stiff in movement for my tastes, but it's fine since this was mostly a design sample. Plus...he's a little stiff! He's a serious lad with places to be! He's fed up!
Me too, pal.
