The kitchen is the heart of the Not So Big House; connected to the living and dining areas, it’s a gathering place for family and friends.

the holy trinity: beauty of the mind, richness of the spirit, tenderness of the heart.
Sometimes it’s hard to put into words exactly what it is that you’re thinking + feeling… and that is why you, my friend, should take this time to pull out your journal and pour your heart onto those delicate pages.
Yes, it can be a little tough to pen out and pinpoint what’s going on in that beautiful mind of yours.
The only way you will feel better is to release it from your body. To release it from your mind and to release it from your heart. Maybe you’ve had a stressful week and you don’t feel like talking to anyone about it/keep to yourself, or maybe you’re just so damn exhausted and you’re doing your best to keep your foot on the gas despite feeling shitty.
It could also be that you’re going through some serious (positive) changes in your life and you’re not used to good things coming in your direction… it’s foreign to you but you’re doing your best to welcome it.
Whatever it may be, write it down. This is important. And in this moment, nothing else matters. You are in your zone. BE HONEST with yourself and allow yourself to sink in deeper. Only you know what you’re thinking, only you know what you’re feeling. If you’re afraid, do it anyway. You know yourself better than this. Do not let your mind control you. Be in control of it.
As author, Biance Sparacino, says— “You ruin your life by desensitizing yourself. We are all afraid to say too much, to feel too deeply, to let people know what they mean to us. Caring is not synonymous with crazy.
Expressing to someone how special they are to you will make you vulnerable. There is no denying that. However, that is nothing to be ashamed of. There is something breathtakingly beautiful in the moments of smaller magic that occur when you strip down and are honest with those who are important to you.
Let that person know they inspire you. Express, express, express. Open yourself up, do not harden yourself to the world, and be bold in who, and how, you love. There is courage in that.”
Yeah. 🤍
