Why Many YouTube Tutorials Are Annoying
This pretty much sums up the issue with a lot of YouTube tutorials. Canât they just get into it?Â
Someone Finally Created A Real Life Lightsaber
The Most Beautiful Endlessly Looping GIFs Ever
Artist George Redhawk is an amazing artist who creates these wonderful GIFs! Go check out his work here for more of these creations. His story is also remarkable, here is an except from The Creators Project:
Before becoming an unlikely viral GIF art sensation, George Redhawk worked in various areas of medicine, instructing on subjects such as x-ray technology and, rather surprisingly, phlebotomy.
As he tells The Creators Project, he had a fairly productive life doing that. Then, suddenly, Redhawk lost his sight, destroying his career and life in the process. And even though he continued to teach for four years, Redhawk says he âlost everythingâ.
This newfound appreciation of art led him to various artists online, and into the world of GIFs, particularly of the morphing variety. He thought that this format was a pretty accurate way of illustrating his sense of vision â a way of expressing it. Which is why his current work, a mesmerizing fusion of still and morphing motion, is called The World Through My Eyes. Source: My Modern Met and The Creators Project
A Photo Showing How Times Have Changed In The Best Way Possible

Is there such a thing as a dream home for a photographer? There is now, and it's the brainchild of Welsh architectural group Hyde + Hyde Architects, which they've named 'House for a Photographer.' The modern, minimalist structure is nestled into an unused quarry on the edge of Brecon National Park in Pontypridd, Wales; to avoid disturbing the surrounding environment and quarry walls, Hyde + Hyde Architects elevated the house off the ground, making for quite a unique structural experience. As for perks for the resident photographer, the house is designed to collect light with its many windows and elevated structure, "focusing on distant views like a camera Obscura," they say. And because of the rectangular shape and minimal, abstract interior and exteriors, the photographer has ample space to display or shoot photographic works.
Plastic Surgery Is A Gift From Parents To Children In Korea
A video showing why plastic surgery is often given as a gift to kids before going to college in South Kora, because it serves as a competitive advantage when entering college and the workforce. And people say retouching is bad for society.Â

Driving Over A Paper Bridge With No Adhesives
If you were tasked to build a bridge entirely out of paper and nothing else, how would you do it? This video shows you how humans are seriously awesome sometimes. Land Rover created this wonderful ad and used a Range Rover to demonstrate the strength of it. âThe company worked with English artist Steve Messam â known for his large-scale works â to build a paper bridge that a Range Rover could drive over. At first blush, that seems impossible, but the physics are actually pretty sound: as Messam explains in the video, it's built the same way as a stone bridge, where the curvature diverts downward forces laterally. And when you stuff thousands upon thousands of sheets of paper next to one another, they're able to withstand a whole lot of pressure.â  Source

The Photography Of 16 Year Old Yash Naik
As I began on my path as a creative in the world of photography, it started fairly late. I bought my first camera in college and it all started from there.
However, my younger brother, Yash, seems to have taken to photography at a younger age. With now a couple of years under his belt already, I've seen his eye develop a unique style that I feel is strong. He's just 16 years of age with a bright future ahead of him. Shooting a mix of film and digital, here are some of my favorite pieces of his that I wanted to showcase. With no formal training, he has picked up the fundamentals of exposure and composition well. I am excited to see where the future leads.Â
I recently came across this website which showcases some of the best digital artists around the world. It's not to say it has everyone, but it's a really nice arrangement of creatives laid out in way that is visually appealing to navigate through!

A Powerful Photo Story About A Woman's Struggle To Make Ends Meet (NSFW)
My good colleague An Le recently sent in this story which hit me hard. It was extremely powerful and told so beautifully.Â
The story is titled, Grey Lake, for Tush magazine.
An writes:Â
"Grey Lake" was inspired by an article I read recently about a 21-year-old girl who committed suicide after 200 jobs rejections. The article reflects a very current and poignant issue about unemployment of young recent-graduates, with a lot of debts/student loans, struggling in big city like New York trying to find jobs, fulfilling their social obligations and following their dreams...
