'You were everything I ever could have wished for. I love you, baby.'
'I love you, too, dad.'
~Silent Hill Revelação
"Hi." She tries, by way of greeting. Heather's somewhat unsure; she is not used to greeting strangers, "Is there something you want, or...?"
Heather's alone, walking home from the local Library. Her books are haphazardly balanced in her hands as she tries to pluck her phone from her pocket. She has missed calls, but she's almost home-- they can wait.
With a quiet sigh, she turns the corner, only to knock into someone. Her books now scatter across the sidewalk. And Heather is left simply standing there, blinking.
"--...Sorry, I... It's late, 'm not paying attention."
If she had {wings}
She would fly away.
I have a thing for Emma’s legs.
Photography/editing by me.
Billy didn’t want to investigate. He knew that the more he insisted, the more she could hate him and run away. “ May I know your name, Miss? ” It was more than fair, knowing her name would make everything better.
"What?" She spins on her heels, once, peering around the immediate area. If she catches them off guard, she may spot them again-- she may even be able to show them to someone else. That's all she needs, for someone else to see them, to assure her that they are in fact real.
She needs to know that she's not going crazy.
"----Oh, Heather. I'm Heather..." She's not sure if she's paying attention to anything anymore.
Don’t lie to me, he thought. Billy could see the fear in her eyes, he body was clearly shaking. “ Please ”, he told her taking the young girl by the hand. “ Come inside. I can help you. I will try to make you feel better. ”
"No, no." She stumbles backward, hand at her brow, pushing her blonde fringe from her face. Heather slides her hand from his; utterly untrusting, but not yet angry. "I-I'm fine, really. It's just--... I'm fine."
The look on her face was terrifying. Was she lost or something else was happening? “ Are you okay? ” he said by the door as he managed to go outisde of the basement where he lived. Billy wanted to help her out. It was his goal, to live a better life helping other people in danger.
"--Okay?!"
Heather stumbles back, away from him-- the one world seemingly falls as foreign on her lips, though this is not the case. She can't think straight, can't quite talk straight, either--
, "There was--... Um..., a-- Yeah, yeah." She sighs, resigned, "I'm okay..."
Bewildered, is she, and far too busy running to notice anybody in front of her. With quick breaths, she peers over her shoulder, stumbling ever so slightly against the side-walk.
With a particularly indelicate thud, her movements are halted. Heather's tun straight into something... no. Someone.
"Thanks, I guess. You haven’t seen a little girl with a very sarcastic attitude or a slightly older girl with her, have you?" she asked, hoping this stranger had seen Dawn or Megan.
She does chuckle now, "You've just described about half of the girls in this town. Got anything else?"
“I don’t know, can you?”
Heather sighs quickly, a fist clenching at her side for just a moment, "How should I know?"
