He had his secrets. Secrets he kept quiet about and not share with others. Secrets that only he kept to himself due to only him trusting himself only. He had his secrets and Kibeom had theirs. Some secrets were meant to be shared and some hidden away forever from the world to hear.
‘ I love you, Jaeho. And I want you to know everything.‘ His feels weren’t one-sided. Kibeom loved him too. Kibeom actually loved him. How much Jaeho had been wanting to hold Kibeom in his arms and keep him there. He’d do everything just to make sure Kibeom was safe from harm. He’d make sure Kibeom was safe from harm and also to treasure and cherish the male. How much the demon had fallen for Kibeom.
He just stood there comprehending everything of what Kibeom had said because Kibeom loved him and wanted to tell him everything. Jaeho wasn’t going to run away. Whatever it was Kibeom was going to tell him, he wasn’t going to judge. He wasn’t going to put the male into an uncomfortable position. He never wanted to hurt or bring harm to Kibeom. He wouldn’t forgive himself.
“I believe you and I love you too Kibeom. Whatever secrets you have, I won’t question or judge you. Nor will they make me change of how I view you. So, you can tell me everything. I won’t run away from you. I’ll be here by your side.”
Kibeom thought for a moment about what he would say, what he would do. Could he show him? Was that possible? He trusted Jaeho, so he could just say it right? I’m not human. He bit his lip and his eyes darted from Jaeho’s features to his shoes. Kibeom was a nervous w r e c k , almost tasting blood before he quickly let go of his lip between his teeth.
Kibeom’s small fingers grabbed at Jaeho’s hands, feeling the calluses there as well as the softness of his fingers. He could do this forever, just m e s m e r i z e d by the other’s hands. “No one else knows.” Kibeom spoke quietly, still looking at Jaeho’s hands in his own. “My existence shouldn’t even be possible.” A laugh escaped his lips, just barely audible. “I don’t even know how it is.”
Strangely enough, it was easy to talk about this. Kibeom thought it would be more difficult than pulling teeth, but the words slipped out naturally. It was odd, but Jaeho was so important to him he didn’t even think about it. In that moment, he wasn’t worried about what Jaeho would think or who he would tell, he just wanted him to know.
“I --- I’m not human, Jaeho. Not even close.”
