John Patridge (Rum Tum Tugger) had a cat very similar to Mistoffelees. Unfortunately, he died less than a year ago. He was so adorable. I think we will all find that he reminded the owner of a good old friend from stage.

I love him. This is my god of optimism. His smile is so sincere, so real, so cute. When I'm terribly sad, I look for photos of him. It always makes me laugh and gives me hope. Jacob Brent is an amazing person. I don't know if there is a person better suited to this role than him. Mestoffelees in the musical is as optimistic as Jacob.
