i like to think that our blogs are just our own little personal museums of all the things we like, and we can visit each other’s museums and leave nice notes at the reception.
I keep dreaming of the sea. In reality we are here, you are sleeping next to me - breathing even with a light and gentle snore. In my dreamland we are far away - playing in the sea. I have never felt so peaceful or calm. The sea brings a patience I have not yet perfected. It soothes when soothing is needed. I often wonder if being near it will fill the void I have always felt. Will I feel whole amongst the salty sea air? Will this pit I carry be filled with the muddy shores? I dream of the sea. I dream of the forest path near my grandmother’s. Of the deep wooded area that I want to wander in the sunrise. I dream of the cemetary where my relatives lie. I crave to be near them. I hope that this will bury the void I feel. I hope that being home again will make me feel whole. But I worry. I worry what will come of us. What will come of our loved ones we leave behind. I worry that a new hole will grow. Will I ever feel whole?
