Hello! could you potentially make a new part for your collection display for newer collections including simmies and tarot cards just to name a few? its one of my favorite pieces of cc to use and I have a sim trying to collect everything!
I would love to, I just would need some more information about them since I dont have those packs.
Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 249 (Secrets and Angelfish)
One weekend morning, Heather was outside fixing the dew catcher in their backyard. When not making home repairs or caring for the kids, she was trying to research fairies, ambrosia, mermaid's curses - even vet clinic improvements! She had so much to think about, fixing this hideous contraption was actually a welcome distraction.
Ash was outside with Lavender, making sure she could ride a bike before Conrad came outside to play with the dogs. Ash had tried to stop thinking about his moment with Pearl at his dad's place and wasn't succeeding. He didn't want to talk to his mother about this, and instead sought some fatherly advice.
"Have you ever had feelings for anyone besides Mom?"
"You mean, like, before I met her?"
"No, I know about Iris' birth mother. But...after?"
Conrad shook his head. "I can recognize attraction to other people besides your mother. That's natural. But I don't act on any of it because I don't want to. You know I love your Mom."
"I know, and I think I love Scotti. But the last time I saw Pearl...I think I could've kissed her, if Bridgette didn't interrupt us."
"Do you still want to kiss her?"
He nodded, a guilty frown pulling at his lips.
"It's okay to have feelings for other people, Ash. But my advice is don't act on them until you talk to Scotti and Pearl about how you feel."
"I don't know how to talk to Scotti. I don't want her to know because she'll probably be really mean about it. I don't want her to be mean to Pearl because of how I might feel."
"Might?" Conrad offered his stepson an encouraging hug. "You should take time to think about what - or who - you really want. But your mom and I are going to support you, no matter what you do."
While Ash took Conrad's advice to heart in Brindleton Bay, ballerina Katrina Martinez was on the verge of an important conversation with her boyfriend, Dexter Goth, in Willow Creek.
"I was talking to my Mom before you got here, and she said to say hello. She wanted me to let you know she's going to make a trip to San Myshuno to see you in Giselle. I'll probably come with her."
"Because you don't trust your mom alone with me or because you want to see me."
"Both," he said with a laugh. "She fixates on the people she likes, and she likes you. Right now, she's trying to help the Gordons find an angelfish so they can resurrect some ghosts with ambrosia, I guess, and she spent most of our conversation talking about that!"
"The Gordons?"
"They live in Brindleton Bay. Friends of the family. Heather Gordon is the local vet and the older sister of my brother-in-law, River. My mom sort of adopted her husband, Conrad, as one of her own because he lost both his parents."
"And you think because I lost both my parents, she'll try to adopt me, too?"
"In her mind, she probably already has. She just won't make it official until I do."
He raised a small but hopeful smile as he said this, and Katrina caught on right away. "You mean, like, when you propose?"
"I've been thinking about it for a while," he admitted. "Maybe even since our first date in the city, but I want to make sure we're both ready first."
Dexter and Katrina had been together less than a year, and despite the strength of their relationship, he liked to move cautiously with most things. Katrina liked that about him, and it helped her keep her secret longer than she might have, otherwise. But as he brought up the possibility of marriage, Katrina's stomach twisted.
She liked the thought of marrying Dexter, but not without telling him the truth. "I know a place we could find some angelfish for your friends. I could go get them myself, but if...I want to show you something. Will you come with me to Glimmerbrook?"
"What, is there a magic stream out there?" Dexter smiled warmly. "Why do you sound so terrified, Katrina? I'll go to Glimmerbrook with you anytime."
But when they arrived in the mountain town, Katrina brought Dexter to a portal door overlooking a waterfall, and her boyfriend's smile had faded.
"My mom told me about this place," he said nervously. "You've been here before?"
"More than a few times. I haven't been in a while. But Casters Alley never really changes."
"Casters Alley, as in, the spellcasters' marketplace?"
"Angelfish is used in a lot of magic."
Bookish Dexter nodded slowly. "I've read Lady Ravendancer's Book of Spells."
Katrina forced a smile despite her nerves. "So have I. Have you never been to the Magic Realm?"
He shook his head. "My mom took Cass and Alex when they were younger, but she'd stopped going by the time I was born. When my Dad fell for Karl and moved out, she was a single mom and stayed home for us. No more wild adventures."
"Did you want to go see what it's like?"
Dexter shrugged. "I've never thought about it, but my mom said the place can be dangerous so I don't want you going alone. What if you meet a spellcaster?"
"Most people you meet in the Magic Realm are spellcasters. Are you ready to go through?"
"Does it hurt to step through...that?"
"Not at all. Trust me."
Dexter followed Katrina through the swirling bright lights of the portal, emerging into a world of perpetual night, with auroras and space rocks dotting the endless starry sky.
"So this is it? The Magic Realm? This place sort of looks like a death trap."
"It's pretty safe if you stick to the stone paths and don't look at anyone sideways."
"How do you know so much about this place?"
Katrina looked at him with a guilty frown. Taking a deep breath, she leaned in close to share her secret. "I'm a spellcaster, too. Both my parents were spellcasters, but they died facing other spellcasters. I went to an orphanage in Selvadorada after they died, and I loved dancing. I didn't talk to anyone for months. I just danced."
Dexter listened while she revealed her story, his expression serious.
"Marina Glumova visited the jungle years ago and she found me there. She knew I was different and she could see I was talented, so she arranged to become my guardian and took me back to San Myshuno. After that, I never really did any spellcasting because Marina didn't want me to, but there were times I got curious and jumped here with my glimmerstone."
Me, the Watcher: Wow, Dex, this is a big secret. For a bookish librarian you must be pretty freaked out, huh?
Dexter: *autonomously proposes* 😂
"Katrina, I'm not worried you're a spellcaster, but I'm glad you told me. Now I know for sure: I love everything about you. This was the ring my dad used to propose to my mom, but she took it off once the Grim Reaper gave her one to replace it with. I've been holding on to it ever since, and I've known for months I want you to wear it."
"You're not worried you might never live a quiet life with a spellcaster in the house?"
"Life with you is the only thing I want. Katrina Martinez, will you marry me?"
Katrina's heart raced as her cheeks flushed. She beamed excitedly. "Yes, Dex, I'd love to marry you!"
The couple embraced as rocky pieces of the realm itself floated in the atmosphere above. The strange but wondrous surroundings reminded them they hadn't come here to get engaged, and Katrina led Dexter to a second portal at a broken edge of the fantastical world. Across an expanse of nothing but space was a patch of earth dotted with broken Victorian row houses and open shopfronts.
"Casters Alley is just through this door."
"Let's get the angelfish and head back to Brindleton Bay. We can get the fish to the Gordons and I know my mom will want as much time as possible to help plan the wedding, if you're okay with that."
Katrina smiled. "I never imagined my perfect wedding as a little girl because I was sad I didn't have a mom to plan it with."
"Well, now you won't just have a mother-in-law, you have Bella Goth."
Katrina grinned. "I'm okay with that."
The Gordons were at home when Dex and Katrina arrived with the angelfish. "My mom said you were looking for these and Katrina and I found some on our date last night," he said. "We also found this MySim doll and I know Lavender's working on the full collection. I hope she doesn't already have this one."
Lavender was thrilled - Morcubus was hard to find and one of the dolls she didn't have yet. "Thank you! Wow! Where did you find angelfish and a MySim doll?"
"A stand in Willow Creek was selling one at random," he lied, guarding his new fiancee's secret because it would never be his to tell.
"That's really lucky! And you found these while fishing?"
"No, we got those from a special aquarium."
"Cool! Thanks again, guys! This is awesome!"
Lavender was usually so full of questions, and a 'special aquarium' sounded a little weird - a little magical, even - but her mom had told her not to accuse people of having powers until they told her themselves, so she didn't lean in to further probing questions.
Distracted by her new collectible, she raced upstairs to place her new doll in her custom display case, which still had several empty spaces - but now it had one less!
Heather and Conrad spent time chatting with the young lovebirds, congratulating them on their engagement while looking ahead to fulfilling their promise to Mimsy and Bernard. ->

NOTE: I fully intended for Dexter to be freaked out by all this and slow things down, but with his autonomous proposal immediately after Kat revealed her secret, Dexter proved he's definitely a Goth and spellcasters aren't too strange for him at all! I almost stopped him to stick with my original plan, but made a split-second decision to throw it out the window and follow their lead because I always think love is fun!
NOTE 2: The bike riding became a big deal to me after Ash aged up with low confidence (which I explained through things like having a ton of expectations on his shoulders, using his abilities and his family's wealth for good, and his kidnapping)m and I heard there was a confidence glitch if they didn't learn. I have to motor if I'm going to get Roan to learn before my game's very long winter, but Lavender was first up because she's going to age up around Halloween!
WCIF: The display case is a recent cc discovery by @somecreativecc, which I coveted as soon as I saw it in one of @hashimasims' recent posts. Than you for the cc link for this, I absolutely love it. The creator has cc shelves for all manner of collections in game, but I just downloaded this one for now since it's all I need. It frees up some space on some of the display cases stuffed in the nursery and fits perfectly on this wall (using the alt key) between the door to the nursery and the guest (now Ash's) bedroom.
Not really. If someone has a request or tells me something needs an update, I will, but I am not really making anything new. I honestly just stopped playing Sims and lost my hyper fixation. There is always I chance I will come back as I could renew my interest again.
Adore your display shelves, downloaded all of them recently, but I've found an issue with the Realm of Magic tome display: every time I leave the lot and come back, all the tomes are gone from the display shelves and are stored inside the nearest bookshelf instead. Is there any way to prevent this?
Thanks for asking this. I am not able to recreate this on my end. I am wondering, do you have a maid service? They might be cleaning up the books. Are other people experiencing this? I am wondering if this is also maybe a known bug.
Hi there! I was so psyched when I saw your small(er) microscope :) the base game one is completely absurd lol unfortunately I’m having some problems using your object, I’ve moved it around in several locations (including a big yard space with nothing else around) and my sim keeps indicating that he can’t use it, like when something is in the way. Do you know if this is a known bug? I’d be very grateful for your advice!
Thanks for reaching out about this. This is not a known bug to me. I am unable to recreate the problem in my own game. Is anyone else having this problem? My only suggestion is to first redownload the microscope to see if that works and if not, my guess is it is a conflict with another piece of cc. I would try doing the 50/50 method. Please let me know if either of those work!
Sorry it has been awhile since things have broken when the sims switched to DirectX11. I know I have not been really active cause I have honestly lost some interest in cc creation as I have started working this past year after finishing my masters last year and with my ADHD, I have lost that hyperfixiation. Anyway, I have updated all of the items that were broken from that update. I will include a link to a folder of all of the fixed items and will also try and update all of the original posts as well. If you do not feel like going through and deleting and redownloading things, Sims4Studio has a batch fix that will fix everything for you.
Hey! The broom displays, ribbon display, lego popsicle frame, lego dots panda box, lego dots banana pencil holder, are all showing up with a question mark texture.

Hi, I have not been super active with sims recently (blame the ADHD switching hyperfixations) so I did not know that was a collectable as I do not have the pack. If you, or someone else, wants to help test and give info on the collection, I would be willing to make that.
Hello! Just downloaded your storage mods today, they're amazing and great space savers since my main collector lives in an apartment!
However I thought I'd let you know that the fossil shelf isn't working quite how it does in the preview image. It's only allowing me to place 2 fossils per shelf instead of 4. (I don't play with moveobjects enabled, if that affects anything.)
Hi, I am so glad you like them. They are required to have moveobjects enabled in order to have the fossils so close together.
I wasn't sure where to let you know but I downloaded your display cc (which so good and useful to me btw) but the ribbon display for and broom displays are showing up as question marks in my items menu and just disappear when I place them. Just wanted to let you know!
This is the perfect place to let me know. I am not sure what is causing that but I will look into it.
