We knew we had picked the perfect location for Shilpa Ray’s session as soon as we walked into The Baxter.  Vintage arcade games line the walls of the Chapel Hill bar and the entire space is filled with sound effects, flashing lights and names of high score winners.  The band stopped by before their show at Local 506 to play a few songs for us off their new record, including “Shilpa Ray on Broadway.”
