I do like there is an ode to the mid 2000s with some of the music like 2007, when Iife was great. GREAT. But we get it, she wants to be the main pop star and to me this is catering to the lowest common denominator trying to please everyone. So yes, she clears the bar here, but taking no risks. I can only see her music going downward from here--she hit the plateau, not in regards to her own music progression, but by the music industry machine. I will revisit and eat my words if I'm wrong. Tastes like knockoff Oreo cookies.
