…okay, so that feature doesn’t exist yet, so reblogging will do for now. Seriously, this is so awesome!
I'm convinced this fan letter is one of the reasons he needs a therapy sword in the first place.
Dynamite Comics Brings Back "TaleSpin" With New Ongoing Series Slated For This August.
Time to take a flight and head back to Cape Suzette.✈️🐻💛
Disney Comics and Dynamite Comics have announced that the classic Disney Afternoon series "TaleSpin" is set to have a series of comics slated for August following the sucessful releases of "Gargoyles", "Darkwing Duck" and "DuckTales" (1987).
Written by Amanda Deibert with art by Carlo Lauro, aka the team that helped launch Dynamite’s Darkwing Duck comics back in 2022, the new series crafts new adventures for fans and a new generation of kids to get to know these characters.

Higher For Hire is… well, hired… to bring in Cape Suzette’s newest resident: Skye Ryder. But the job’s interrupted by air pirates led by the dastardly Don Karnage! Can Baloo and Kit shake the pirates and get their mysterious passenger to safety, or is it curtains for the pilots of the Sea Duck?! Fans will have to find out by jumping onboard this high-flyin’ adventure series soaring this summer.
“I am so thrilled to be once again teaming up with the incredible Carlo Laura as we get to play in the world of the beloved TaleSpin and take things to new heights!. Pun very much intended.” - Deibert
In 2023, a reboot of the series for Disney+ was reported to be in development by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's production company Point Grey Pictures alongside Disney Television Animation however there where reports that the project got paused in January 2025.
Rogen and Goldberg currently have multiple development projects at Disney Entertaiment across TV and Films as part of an overall deal with the company. So it's more likely that the show could have returned back on track at Disney Television Animation specially with the sucess of their Apple TV series "The Studio" during the awards season in 2025/2026 and the critical acclaim of Rogen's new animated drama film "Tangles" during Cannes 2026.
I absolutely love these cards ok so I've seen some of the other cards and the arts on them before either from a message board that only included some of the cards or early promo art(?) BUT some of these ones I've never seen and i find them so cool like Molly at the controls, or Rebecca in a cute formal outfit holding something (explosive? or timer?). Also a clearer view at Wildcat's early design! I haven't been able to find much of those
The rest of the images of the cards found here
Also on some other blog sites too if I remember right, searching "Aventureros del aire cards" worked for me
Posted chapter 17 of The Good, The Bad, and the Very Very Handsome for all those of you who prefer to spend your Memorial Day weekend in the dark, reading fan fiction instead of cooking and camping out. Or, perhaps, for those who prefer to read fan fiction while camping and cooking out?

NEW Talespin comics will be published by Dynamite starting this August!! This is HUGE!!
The Yamidian ship (the Y.A.M. Desert Kestrel) from my fanfic. I'm totally out of my element drawing ships and mech like this, so just imagine some more gears and cables and such.
For those of you following my writing, I apologize, the next chapter won't be out for another few weeks. Health and life issue have squelched my creative energy right now.
The moment you realize all those dance lessons paid off. Almost.
Don't y'all rush out at once, but the next chapter of The Good, The Bad, and The Very Very Handsome is up for your enjoyable enjoyment.
PSA to fic readers, it is so hard to freak a fic writer out with your comments. we are just as crazy about the fic as you are.
tell me you love it. tell me it made you slam your laptop shut. tell me you brought it up at your college lecture about kink. key smash in all caps. quote the passage that made you think. i promise, we’ll love it.
we spend hours thinking about it, writing it, editing it. there is no such thing as over enthusiasm when you’re talking about our fics to us. we are sooooo weird about them, i assure you. you are just matching my freak. the freak bar is already set so high. feel no anxiety about enjoying something and letting the creator know.
Couldn't agree more. It's hard to write. Like, writing my fan novel has destroyed my free time for more than a year now. It distracts me from real life things that are actually important. I can't wait to just finish the darn thing. But, the conversation in the comments section is fuel. Not because I need the affirmation; I've been pleased to have the whole story live in my head for a decade or two. But, the knowledge that I'm contributing something valuable (hopefully) to a happy little community, generating conversations that keep an under-loved fandom alive gives me the energy to push through the slumps.
A few more details for my 8-inch Soren boy. This sculpt took around 30 hours. I used Kato clay for most of it, which I regret. It tends to relax over time and not hold those flowy details. I got wise and (re)made the head out of Fimo and it's holding up well.
I wanted some texture in the clothes, so I rolled the clay super thin, overlaying it on a piece of muslin fabric as I put it through my pasta machine. Lovely texture, but it essentially produced a tear-away dot effect, which made constructing his robe SUUUPER fidgety. Also, I made the hand removable and inserted a green LED light inside for "magic". Sadly, I messed up the wiring and it shorted out pretty quickly. I'll try again on another model.
When there's no official figure of your fav characters (or you're poor LOL), just make your own! Soren, the wind mage from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. 8-inches (20cm) Sculpted by hand of polymer clay.
I started this one more than 10 years ago, but hated some of the details. So, recently I hacked off the pieces I didn't like and gave them an update. Super pleased with the energy of this piece! More details in a later post.

Found the artist, thanks to @patchesthecalico Here is a higher res image so that you may bask in its glory.
I was sketching Disney Afternoon characters a few weeks ago. I do plan on going back and drawing more of them, life just got really crazy. I
Does anyone know the artist of this fantastical piece of work? tell me so that I may gawk at the rest of their art!
