Some kind of Something @somekindofswitch - Tumblr Blog

So I recognised a pattern with my tumblr use, which is a brief scroll once or twice a year. If I'm thinking about Femdom, it's like muscle memory to open the app. Back to my roots, I guess...

I enjoy being a pet. However I prefer being a switch. I miss going to fetish balls as well. Is there a place I can go safely for fun?

As in play parties or...? Quite an open question but I'm sure a site like Fetlife would be better for finding events to attend. Established events tend to managed well and take safeguarding seriously.

What's the deal with tumblr these days? Is it all porn again without things being censored?

Finally reactivated my FL after a lengthy break and started attending events again. About half the connections on there are Tumblr throwbacks. Feels good knowing a lot of folks who have long since left this platform and are still going strong!

I think 2022 will mark ten years of Tumblr for me. For this blog, at least. Pretty wild to think a random Domme liking a random selfie tagged in the city we both resided in brought my attention to Femdom and would go on to have had such an impact. Femdom was the area of kink that made the most sense, even though I had no idea it existed. Like finally finding a home, if that makes sense at all.

The thing I'm most grateful for is the social life that came with Tumblr. It's also the thing I miss the most, although I've kept contact with a few important friends.

The blog has gone through some changes, mostly due to terms of service, but also as preferences evolve. I'm mostly indifferent these days, with a job that involves a lot of sitting around waiting for things to render. That's why my irregular blogging made a return.

Anyhoo, all the best for the New Year. I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep this blog active. Maybe a migration over to BDSMlr or whatever it's called...
