Feeling a bit stupid, though not showing it, Ward nodded as he listened to Wendy explain the blue prints. He understood her meaning in regards to something being in that room. “See you in seven minutes.” He said with a nod as he gathered the papers and went to his room where he quickly changed into a better looking suit and sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror. Something felt off about this mission. Not only was he working with a newer team, but they were working with a tighter timeline. Shaking his head, Marcus threw away his doubts and grabbed the documents needed as he made his way to the entrance of the jet. Two minutes were left to spare as he looked down at his watch and waited for Wendy. He wasn’t upset or impatient for he knew ladies in general needed more time to look the part of the mission. Therefore, as the rest of the team members came on board, Ward made sure to explain to them their part in this mission and asked if there were any questions. After answering a few of them, Ward made his way up the jet and took a seat buckling in. The sound of high heels on coming up the jet caught his attention causing him to look up at their new arrival, and he had to admit, she was very easy on the eyes.
There was hardly any time for Wendy to think about the items she was gathering. Her packing consisted mostly of throwing around things she assumed they would need on their journey. Wendy had made a mental note and checked whatever she had already taken. She retrieved the dress from her closet and opened the shroud that protected it. Hurling the soft black fabric over her head, Wendy adjusted the dress to her body and zipped it up as far as she could reach, which wasn’t all the way up. There was a leg holster attached to her right thigh where she had a knife hidden, just in case there were any emergencies. She fixed her short hair in a slick hairdo. Her green eyes framed by makeup that resembled a cat’s eyes, with eyeliner tilting its corners. Her lips colored in deep rouge. Wendy threw some other things inside a clutch and rushed to where the aircraft was on the patio. She came over to the jet and took the final few devices she would need upon their landing before heading over to her seat. She fastened the straps of her seat belt and looked at Ward while placing her earpiece and other accessories. “Did you pick up the ring?” She inquired, sparing him a glance. “And, what exactly is our story? We are Mrs. and Mr. Who?” Wendy had wondered whether he had given any of that thought.
