Christopher Walken next had a small role as an interviewer in the 1996 artist biopic BASQUIAT. More about this film and more about Walken at can be found at THE WALKEN CHRONICLES.
Christopher Walken plays the role of a tommy-gun toting bad guy in Walter Hill’s 1996 Prohibition-era Western ‘LAST MAN STANDING’, also starring Bruce Willis. For more about this film and others check out The Walken Chronicles.
Christopher Walken has a small role as an American soldier in CELLULOIDE (1996), a little-known Italian film about the making of an earlier Italian film about Nazi-occupied Italy in WWII. The beautiful Anna Falchi also has a small role in it. Interested in learning more? Check out ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
In 1995, Christopher Walken starred in a brilliant little erotic crime-thriller named ‘Wild Side’ that got over-shadowed by both the lesbian love-scenes with Anne Heche and Joan Chen, and the director/studio power-struggle that turned tragic.
But the film was good! Find out more about this film and others of Walken’s at my review site ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Christopher Walken is some kind of face-meltingly fantastic in the quirky, dark, and fun film ‘Search & Destroy’ (1995) with Griffin Dunne, Illeana Douglas, John Turturro, and Dennis Hopper. More at ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Walken plays a twisted quadriplegic crimeboss in ‘THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOU’RE DEAD’. Such a fun dark time! Find more Walken stuff HERE.
Walken had a small but tasty role in Abel Ferrara’s cerebral black and white vampire film, ‘THE ADDICTION’. More on that found HEEEEERE.
Christopher Walken plays the big bad archangel Gabriel running amok in ‘THE PROPHECY’ (1995). A darkly comic fantasy-horrorish thriller kind of thing. Angels playing chess using humans, if you get me.
Walken returns for the next two sequels, just so you know, but not the two after that. Interested in more? Take a gander at my Walken-centric project ‘The Walken Chronicles’ for this film and others.
‘NICK OF TIME’ (1995) is such an under-rated film! Christopher Walken is in top-form and steals the show from the star, a young, mild-mannered Johnny Depp. One of my favorite Walken films.
To see more about this film and others from Christopher Walken, check out my site ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
In PULP FICTION (1994), Christopher Walken’s iconic tale of the golden watch (and its various watch pockets) is just one reason of many to watch Quentin Tarantino’s arguably best film. That last image is just from me screwing around, playing with a mirrored filter.
If you want more about PULP FICTION or dozen’s of other Walken films, check out my site ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Christopher Walken plays ‘Vanni’, a cocky New York publisher that is one part of a tumultuous love triangle in the relatively unknown dramedy ‘A BUSINESS AFFAIR (1994), also starring Carole Bouquet and Jonathan Pryce. If you’re curious for more about this film and others from Walken, check out my project: ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Christopher Walken showed off his lighter side in ‘WAYNE’S WORLD 2′ (1993), playing the film’s heavy, Bobby Cahn, an unscrupulous record producer looking to scoop up Cassandra (the yummy Tia Carrere!) for his own. To see more about this film and others, check out my site ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Don’t let the title ‘True Romance’ (1993) throw you. Written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott, this is a violent and bloody film. Walken only has a single scene in it, but him and Dennis Hopper are absolutely brilliant in it. For more about this and other Walken goodies check out my site ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
In 1993 Christopher Walken and Glenn Close starred in SKYLARK, the heart-warming sequel to SARAH PLAIN & TALL. Walken is rarely the romantic lead and the loving father in films, which is weird because he does it so well every time he gets the chance. Wanna know more? Take a gander at my Walken site: ‘The Walken Chronicles’ for info about this film and more.
In 1993, Walken starred in a made-for-TV movie called ‘SCAM’ with Lorraine Bracco and Miguel Ferrar. It’s a good little con-man film that isn’t more well-known because it’s never been offered on DVD or Blu-ray. As such, forgive the picture quality on this one again, because of the VHS. For more about this film and others from Walken, check out “The Walken Chronicles”
Christopher Walken plays the part of ‘Pasco Meisner’, a brutal Chilean crime-boss in the 1992 crime-saga DAY OF ATONEMENT. Forgive the picture quality, as this is only available on VHS in the states. For more about this Walken-film and his others check out ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
Christopher Walken appeared in Tim Burton’s second Batman film, BATMAN RETURNS (1992) with Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, and Michelle Pfeiffer. He played the role of amoral millionaire industrialist Max Schreck. Find out more at ‘The Walken Chronicles’.
