1. what would completely break your character?

i  don’t  think  i’ve  spoken  about  this  on  here  ,  but  it  would  break  him  to  be  torn  away  from  the  somnia.  their  bond  is  on  a  spiritual  level  ,  they  are  one.  if  the  somnia  were  to  be  ripped  out  of  his  body  by  the  keres  it  would  leave  kristoph  empty.  he’d  be  a  shell.  he  would  prefer  death  over  existing  without  the  somnia.  without  the  dream  deity  the  world  is  quiet  ,  his  sleep  is  chaotic  ,  there  are  no  more  dreams  about  the  days  that  will  follow  and  no  sense  of  feeling  protected.   half  of  his  soul  would  be  taken  away  and  kristoph  wouldn’t  even  resemble  a  person.

7. how does your character feel about sex?

sex  is  something  that’s  been  present  in  his  life  for  a  long  while  ,  most  times  for  the  wrong  reasons  and  without  it  actually  giving  kris  any  pleasure.  to  be  fair  ,  kris  is  tired  of  meaningless  sex  ,  he’s  tired  of  not  getting  more  pleasure  from  a  sexual  act  even  if  it’s  been  his  job  for  years  to  deliver  this.  he  wants  to  be  able  to  trust  his  partner  ,  to  feel  a  connection  between  them.  i  think  it’s  very  good  for  him  that  he  found  stability  with  lucius  tbh.

10. what would your character make a scene in public about?

kris  gets  worked  up  about  most  things  tbh  ,  he’s  not  the  most  calm  person  despite  how  hard  he  tries.  but  i  think  that  he’d  make  a  scene  if  someone  is  getting  mistreat  ,  or  if  he  feels  as  though  he’s  being  mistreated.  kristoph  has  the  bad  habit  of  reacting  before  thinking  twice  ,  at  least  while  he’s  still  young.

           DREAMS are tricky creatures.     he is a living one,     living being a consequence,    death a fact   -   he is a dying one.    it makes no sense,    but nothing about him had ever been constructed with sense.     there is blood,     so much blood,    he feels like he’ll choke on it   ;   and because he feels it,    it is.    his fingers drip with the blood escaping from his lips,     and he stares at the other with dread and admiration,    and he’s not looking at the other at all.   ‘   there are no children in the world anymore,   ‘    he hypothesises,     to which he means no children believe in me,    to which he means    -    ‘   can you help me ?   ‘   /   @somniiaris

never  had  he  felt  a  dream  filling  the  air.  never  had  a  dream  spoken  to  him  ,  lest  feel  so  real.   how  many  times  has  he  heard  cries  of  help  disguised  as  riddles ?   too  many  times  to  question  it  by  now.   the  sight  breaks  his  heart :     a  dream  flickering  between  life  and  death  ,  clinging  onto  hope  that  is  lost.     ‘  there  are  ,  there  are.  ’    he  reassures  the  other  as  he  extends  his  hand  in  hopes  to  comfort  whoever  this  lost  creature  is.  there  are  many  things  somniar  does  not  understand  ,  but  his  lack  of  knowledge  will  not  cease  his  attempts  to  ease  one’s  pain.    ‘  give  me  your  hand.  let  me  clean  you  up.  ’    let  me  give  you  the  energy  you  need.

the somnia can see the future but you know how dreams are weird and trippy? that's how the somnia perceives it. nothing is exact. nothing makes sense. kris has to read into the dreams that the somnia shows him so he can understand what will happen. it never gives him exact details which pisses him off a lot,  because up until now i bet that the somnia gave him so many signs of what was going to happen but he just didn't have the knowledge to understand. he got better at it but some dreams, like the ones about the keres / cal ( @ssanis in regards to our plot) i think, are so vague.

the somnia doesn't have the ability to judge or speak against one's choices. it can influence them (thru dreams that have to be interpreted) but it rarely says 'kris u fucked up'. i think this also depends on how much kris lets it be present in his day to day life, because up until making a pact with the gods kris rarely used his powers to their maximum out of fear of being found by the keres. so him using his powers more often brings him closer to the somnia, thus it becomes more self-aware and present ( talking to kris, giving him insight on situations, being less vague ).

also ??   because  of  the  somnia  kris  knows  ancient  greek  and  latin.  he  acquired  most  knowledge  about  the  gods  through  the  somnia.  for  the  longest  time  he  can  only  converse  with  it  through  ancient  greek  or  latin.

the  somnia  literally  has  no  morals  or  fears.  it’s  here  to  protect  kris  at  all  costs.  it  will  use  its  powers  to  keep  itself  and  kris  alive.  it  has  no  personality  ( although  that  changes  over  time  because  kris  makes  it  more  humane )  and  only  acts  on  instincts  ( which  ,  tbf  ,  kinda  suck  when  you’re  a  deity  that  only  acts  if  ordered ).  but  as  it  starts  becoming  more  humane  ,  the  somnia  begins  to  talk  to  kris  and  to  give  him  insight  on  situations.
