It's been a while and people have gotten to asking again, so I figured I'd reblog this. I'm not feeling sassy about it, I just figured that this post gives about as straight of an answer as I can about the status of this comic ;) If you're new here, welcome! I'm sorry that the comic hasn't moved forward in a while, but I appreciate your patience and kindness :)

Do you have the entire story planned out already and if so is it just a wire frame or do u have all the details yet
I do actually have the entire story planned out, which is the frustrating part. I already know what happens and at which points, and I already know how the story needs to be paced. I could probably just recite the story verbally, haha. The actual difficult part is actually just creating the comic pages. Which I enjoy doing, but it’s very time-consuming and I find it increasingly difficult to fit in the time necessary to make pages at the quality I hold myself to. I’ve considered other methods of telling this story, ranging from just writing it chapter by chapter to holding off until FE is finished to focus solely on it. So far, nothing I’ve thought of is as appealing as making the pages the way that I have been.
But the real question is: will you ever stop being so heckin fabo with your work? Probably not ;)

What happened to the whole 'sondertale updates once a week'? (Not hating, just curious) :)
Things happened. Work and life and other obligations and personal issues edged out consistent Sondertale updates. A lot of it was probably my fault - time management issues, wanting to make progress with other things, maybe not balancing this work and job-work as well as I could have. It all gets hard to deal with. But it's hard for everyone and I know I'm not alone. Other people deal with more and they get their stuff done, so I know I can do it too. Part of me knows it's nothing to be sorry over, but the other part is still so sorry. So, I'm sorry.Sondertale will just update when I can update it, and right now that's the best I can do. This story means a lot to me, so I'm determined to tell it, no matter what.

ngl, because Frisk is kinda green in your icon it always reminds me of Kermit. Did you make them green on purpose?
Hahaha, the color scheme I went with made them a little more green than I had anticipated! But I ended up liking the result so much that I didn’t mind ^^

Oh man, haha! I feel like I could make a mini series with all the ways I thought of that Srisk could ruin the run and have to reset because of accidentally killing someone XD
I'm new here, so I'd just like to know something, did you only have Chapter 1 done? I'm not used to navigating here yet and loved your first Chapter, and would love to see the rest if you made them. If not, I'd love to know if I can look forward to more!
Hi there :) The story is currently in Chapter 1, I’m afraid, but I assure you we’ll be moving forward with the story, hopefully soon. Just stay tuned :) I’m glad you’re enjoying the comic so far, though <3
Can you reshare the comic by any chance? You have to scroll pretty far to find it, and if people want to read it or if there are new people they are gonna want to find it easily, especially on mobile. (That sounded like a criticism, it wasn't, I was just pointing it out :P)
Sure thing! I think that’s a very good idea. It just occurred to me that I never set up an archive post or page on the blog for easy access to all the updates. In fact, there’s a couple things I’d like to reorganize for easy viewing, so I’ll get on that as soon as I can :)

That’s very flattering, I’m glad you enjoy the comics I do ^^
I made a post about it sometime ago, but no, Sondertale is not cancelled. From now until I say otherwise, the comic will update once pages are done. Long story short I’ve got a lot going on and I only have time to put my all into one comic or the other, because splitting my time would delay both comics and the quality would drop, which I’m not having. I am a potato with standards, afterall.
One way or another, Sondertale will be finished. I want it to be in comic format. And I’m hella stubborn, so not I’m really keen on finishing it in another format other than as a comic.
So even if people move on from being interested in this comic or being interested in the fandom in general I’m still going to finish this story, because I want to tell it.
If anything changes in the way I make updates, I promise to let ya’ll know. I appreciate everyone’s patience. Trust me, no one is as excited as I am to tell the story of Sondertale ;)
